  1. adding permissions - make it possible by user or advisor, rather than by contact record.

    It would be so much easier to add contact permissions by user or advisor. As mentioned by several other entries, adding one user at a time with 25 users to work through is not efficient. Especially with each new record and spouse!!!

  2. When selecting a contact to connect to a calendar entry or a report, for example, it would be helpful to have head of household designated

    When selecting a contact to connect to a calendar entry or a report, for example, it would be helpful to have head of household designated so all users in our office and new hires can figure out the right contact to link to the event/notes/report/etc.

  3. add field for client pets and their names

    Please add a field for client Pets with their names! We are a dog-friendly firm with a lot of pet-friendly clients and we use the best dog-friendly CRM around... So, we would love to be able to add client's pet type and name to a field so we can reference their pets by name quickly when chatting with clients in the future. :)

  4. new field on client record

    We are a pet friendly firm using a pet friendly CRM (Redtail) and we have a LOT of pet friendly clients... We would LOVE to have a field to enter those clients pets and their names for easy reference when speaking to our clients!

  5. Simplify and Improve "Householded" Visual Representations, Screens and Reports

    The limitations of Redtail's ALL BY ALPHA method of displaying "Contacts" is very non-useful when needing to view "Householded Contacts" and "Householded Account" data.

    We can certainly create various Quicklists to sort for and display our various categories of clients (A, AA, AAA-1, AAA-2, etc.), but there is no way to click a few buttons and get a display of ALPHA Head of Households, with the spouse <sometimes male, sometimes female, sometimes same gender> SIMPLY INDENTED BELOW the head of Household. That would be SO simple and SO helpful, and so OFTEN utilized!

    There's got to be a simple, straightforward…

    Using this sort for a Quicklist, it sure would be an improvement if all those listed under/after the Head of Household were simply indented by 3 or 4 spaces . . . so much more visually effective:

  7. Track Who "Booked" the Client on Contact Card

    We track who initially booked and scheduled prospects through Opportunities, and we also track go forward. Can we add a line on the contact card, so that we can see this front of view vs having to click into the OT?

  8. Delete Warning

    Please consider adding a WARNING pop-up window with "confirm action" related to deleting contacts or accounts!

    Example: while recently experimenting with TAG GROUPS, I created a test group and added a client.

    Clicking then, on View Members, He was there, and I thought great. Except he was a test member. Wanting to remove him from the Tag Group, from the list view I then clicked on the down arrow in front of his name and scrolled down to DELETE (which I would have assumed meant FROM THE LIST)

  10. When you are in Favorites - press a letter and jump to the first last name with that letter

    The new favorites feature will list out all the contacts who are started. When you are on that page, press a letter and it will jump to the first name with that letter. I would prefer to have it search last name.

    Maybe also have a quick search box at top so you can type in few letters and it will bring up contacts with that last name match of 2-3 letters.

  11. Zip Code Formatting

    You have made changes to your zip code formatting which cause errors for international clients. Your format is xxxxx-xxxx. This converts a non-US zip code into 00012-3456 which is incorrect for mail merges, documents, etc. Your zip codes should be formatted based upon client's country of residency.

  12. I came over from ACT Contact system and I was able to search an individual by t

    it is fairly frustrating not to be able to pull up an individual by company name. The only way around it is to add company again as a tag. Many, many times you can remember the company name but not employee name. Adding it again as a tag is double work. Is there a reason why it won't allow you to pull up name or family when you search for it?

  13. Client > Month of Birth

    For Custom Export purposes, please add a "Month of Birth" field so that we can include that on our custom exports. We organize our annual client meetings around each client's month of birth. But the way that the dob exports, it's a pain to deal with that in Excel.

  14. Customize or Filter the Notes on the Contact Main Page

    It would be very helpful to be able to filter how we are viewing the notes on the main contacts page so we could choose if we wanted the notes to be displayed or the activity. Currently you are only able to see the activity and the notes all combined in that section. We would preferer to filter out the activities and only have the advisor notes displayed. Our firm relies heavily on the notes as a point of reference so being able to push out the activities update in that section would be great. Thank you

  15. copying addresses between different tags on contact card

    IDEA: For those clients whose mailing and residence are the same, would be nice to be able to type it once and then have a button or check box to copy that address to another address category. Type in home address, click button and it's copied to the mailing address as well (or other, or any of the other address types.)

  16. What generation is the client from? Baby Boomer, Millennial?

    The importance of understating your client has never been more important. A field under their date of birth that would delineate what generation they are would be very helpful. Baby Boomer, Gen X, Millennial, etc

  17. Add "lead" and "dead lead" as options to list as a contact's status

    Not everyone is either a prospect or an active client. A lot of times, contacts start as a lead and as you talk with them they become a prospect. Also, it would be helpful in organizing "dead leads" as such so I can get a feel for the flow of my funnel without deleting history if that is needed.

  18. basic contact card expanded

    I want to go to a client's contact card and see everything I need like Name, d.o.b.soc sec, address phone, email cell employer etc.. This is so basic and I don't want to have to run a freekin report. This has t be the easiest fix and needed by everyone. Thank you

  19. We like to see important information at a glance.

    Can we have an option for a self fill trust date? We use date and attorney initials. This would work best for us in the Client Details section.

    Or in the least, an Important Information Box on the main page.
