Option to automatically rollover activity
It would be helpful to have an option when creating an activity to automatically roll activity over until activity is completed. This would be nice for an activity that we assign to an employee that we want them to see everyday until it's completed. It would be nice in a situation where we assign an activity to an employee and give them a week to do it. It won't fall off the dashboard after a day. And it would also be helpful when I assign a task to myself that I know I probably won't get done today and want to be constantly reminded of until I do it.
Redtail’s Product Owner has read the suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps.
This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

People have been asking for an update, looks like one of the most-voted on feature requests and Redtail encourages us to vote! For what? 10 years of internal discussion? One year and no one could give status, Orion doesn't seem to be doing any better then Redtail was alone. Please prove us wrong.

Now Orion is on the scene, can we get this feature implemented?

Please look into adding this feature. I called Redtail and was told this idea had never been suggested. However, this forum indicates otherwise. Adding a box to select for the activity to rollover would be ideal.

Can we get an update on this? This is a really good suggestion, and seems like it would be very helpful for many different companies. This was suggested 10 years ago and the last response on Redtail's end was over two years ago.

I echo others - I really cannot believe this is not already an option.

Yes, please! This would be very helpful - no more accidentally completed tasks!

As a related suggestion, making it so that a user can elect to automatically rollover all activities of a certain type (i.e. maybe a user only wants to automatically rollover tasks, but not appointments).

I'll throw my hat into the ring on this suggestion. I have to agree with everyone else if the CRM is supposed to be about accountability. Having tasks and workflows fall off of the dashboard after one day makes no sense. This needs to be applied ASAP over 10 years since it was suggested and it's still not implemented is highly disappointing. I dislike tasks specifically for this non existent feature.

It has been 10 years since this suggestion was posted, over 1 year since Redtail acknowledged it, received over 1K votes and over 40 comments from users begging for it, and yet still NOTHING! WHY??

This is so essential! All of our Financial Advisors have a one-track mind and will only look at "today" page. 80% of the tasks don't get done that day because we are waiting on the client for something.

Yes! This would be so helpful.

Also, be able to have an open task list that doesn't make you set a due date for task that you would like to do but doesn't have to been done soon.

It would be helpful if tasks could be set up to automatically rollover (rather than having to manually move them) to the next day, week, month (however the user wants to set it up) if they are not marked as "completed".

Rollover incomplete tasks to the next day until completed

this has been requested since 2011! PLEASE prioritize this

It would be nice if tasks/activities automatically rolled over, but also showed the original date of the task/activity. This would allow us not to forget about it, but also see when it was supposed to be done so we can see if we are getting too far behind on something that was assigned.
