Zapier Automation
Bugs to be fixed in Zapier. Although Redtail is showing available to integrate with other applications within Zapier, there are a few bugs that make it impossible to connect applications. Anything to speed along a fix to make Redtail functional when using Zapier would be greatly appreciated.
Here is the email correspondence with Zapier:
"The first is the bug where the Contact Source values aren't available in the dropdown selection. This is a known bug, and I've added your email addresses as affected users. Unfortunately, I don't have an ETA on when this bug will be resolved as the Redtail team develops and maintains the app integration. But, rest assured, we'll notify once anything changes with the bug report. How does that sound?
Concerning the email address field, the Redtail CRM app integration does not currently support fields such as email, phone, address, etc. The good news here is that other users have requested these fields, so we have a feature request in with the Redtail team to add these fields to the Create Contact action. Feature requests are similar to bug reports in that they:
- Raise the issue with the Redtail team
- Gives us a place to track user interest on our end
- Reminds us to notify you once this become available
Similarly to the bug we're tracking, I'm sorry to say that I don't have a timeline for when this feature might be developed, but we'll automatically send you an email to let you know of any changes to the status of this feature request.
Since the Redtail team maintains this integration, I also recommend reaching out to them about the bug and feature request as well. We've found that it helps when our partners also hear from their customers. :)
