Be able to Archive an entire file.
Be able to Archive an entire file. Goal, only see file when we want to.
Example: When a prospect doesnt pan out, we want to keep the file and it's informaton; however, it would be "hidden" until we wanted to see it.

We would also like to have an "archive contact" option. We had an advisor leave our office and a portion of the clients went with her. We do not want to delete the clients, as we need the information archived. But we would like to archive them so they are not showing up in our contact list.

Archiving a contact would be great. We are getting to a point where the database gets convoluted from deceased/inactive clients that we don't need to view anymore but want to keep the records.

This is something that should absolutely be an option. I dont think I have ever worked in a database that does not allow you to archive a record. PLEASE make this possible.

We're new to RT, OMG so frustrating that we can not figure out a way to hide Archived records. We found an old forum post recommending adding a team that had no members, but there are no team assignments in contact records any longer. We tried creating a dummy Servicing Advisor and switched our archived records to that, BUT there is no way to filter by servicing advisor. ... frustrating.
