Link Account to Multiple Contacts
I would like to be able to link accounts to multiple contacts. Joint accounts, also trust accounts where the trustees may or may not be a part of the same household. It would also be nice for the purpose of linking a power of attorney to an account.
Redtail has read this suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps. This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

We use for individual wealth. Especially in the case of a minor/custodial account, it is important to link the owner and the minor to the account in Redtail since the asset feed is only linked to the minor's social.

We have many insurance and securities accounts owned by trusts and insured may not be a trustee or primary trustee so account does not show under them or their portfolio balance. It makes it hard to keep track of clients' insurance coverage or securities balances. A link that is similar to Joint Owner for the Insured(s) would be a great help. Or more fields if Trust is selected as ownership type.

If this was possible it would really help us with 401k business, where accounts are under the 401k tax id but need to be linked to a participant Redtail record.

I agree...this is absolutely needed to accurately setup Joint, Trust, Custodial, and any other account types that involve more than one person.

I can do this now (but for the non primary it doesn't count towards their portfolio balance as seen from the main contact page). I think having more fields (or fields that only show up when an account has a certain registration (like trustee fields appearing when an account is marked a trust) would help. I like linking a 529 to the custodian and the beneficiary but there is no properly named field with that capability (i can call them a beneficiary but not link ir or call them an owner and link it).
