Have a more robust contact card for businesses that shows details of the actual contact.
For the clients that have a business and personal account with us, we want to be able to see the name of the actual contact listed under the business name. We also want to be able to link the accounts together so when pulling a report you see all account information for everything personally and professionally that that person manages.

User Interface
The user interface for contact records should be updated. Currently there is a lot of clicking needed to navigate a contact record. I believe Redtail should take some inspiration from Wealthbox's User Interface on contact records) Having the keywords, email history, notes, accounts, family members, etc. all in one place makes it easier to navigate and get the necessary information.

Contact Card - Additional Dropdown
There needs to be an additional dropdown, like the "show archived" dropdown where I can put the information I need but don't want to see.
ex. I need to include information like mailing address, work phones numbers, fax numbers in my database that I am integrating with Redtail. I cannot archive or delete this information from redtail because they will delete on my other platform. But I still do not want to see these on the redtail contact card, hence another dropdown. In this dropdown the information would display just as it is in "show archived" but still have the…

Keyword and Contact Card Placement
Keywords and Contact Card placement should be easier similar to how Wealthbox has their keywords and contact information at the very top of the contact page.

Need a fiancé option
I need an option for my clients who are engaged. They are someone's fiancé. I wish I had the option to say that instead of "life partner".

Archive Contact option
When an Advisor left our firm, we were required to keep her contacts in our CRM for compliance purposes (according to our broker-dealer, to keep all activities and notes intact, even though the Advisor took a data file with her to her new firm). Although we have inactivated the clients, we still have to weed through them every day. Short of creating a quicklist for our own clients (which is simply a nuisance) to use from day-to-day, it would be amazing if we could archive old clients (either inactive, or in this case, clients who are no longer ours but…

History of Contact items included in Archived items
It would be really great if the history of the contact card item followed the item when it is moved into archives. Right now the only way to "see" the history is to move it back into the non-archived area. Also, if the date an item was moved into archives could somehow label the item, it would help when we need to know that.

risk tolerance, need to be able to change/edit your options
for us to suitability, risk tolerance, not able to edit /change your options, i was able to add to objectives, but not risk tolerance, need to be able to add to this list or change.

Adding Search Bar/Filter to a Contact Record's UDF Section
It would be so helpful if there were a search bar or filter option on a contact record's page under the UDF section to quickly find what you're looking for (i.e. Drink preferences before a client meeting). Helps reduce time from visually scanning.

Being able to add a name of a dependent or parent without having to create a contact record. Sometimes just want to know their name, not clog up the amount of contact records i have that are not beneficial to my business.

save point ability
I think that creating a "save point" ability to save CRM Contacts would be of great help. We recently went through a data merge with Hubspot in which over 490 records were impacted with incorrect (bad) data. I had to input corrections manually. If we had been able to restore the data back to a previous day save point, we could have saved a lot of the issues.

Integrate the ability to send a prospective client an electronic data gathering form that then uploads directly into Redtail upon the prospects completion, thus saving advisors and teams a lot of time. I realize there is an seperate service for this, but we all do not need another piece to add to our tech stack. First CRM to offer this and email hosting allow for over 20mb will get my business as soon as i learn of it.

Transfer of Contact Info When a Client is Deceased
We need a way to transfer information from the contact card of a spouse when the head of household passes away. When we delete the existing family and make the living spouse head of household, it does not carry over any contact info, and it has to be input manually. This is not only cumbersome, it leaves room for errors.

Add Contact History Tab to Client Profiles
It would be beneficial to have a section on a client's profile where we can record our contacts/attempted contacts with them. I see that there is an "Email history" tab, but this would be for both attempted email and phone correspondence. While this information could be recorded in the "Notes" section, we would prefer to keep that space reserved for things like client meeting notes, summaries of client conversations, etc.

Salutations
On the salutations area of adding a new contact, there is an option for Sergeant but no other rank. It means alot to military and first responders to be recognized for their rank.

Give us a link we can send a new contact to input their OWN data into RT. Right now, we send aform to them to fill out contact info - they manually type it out and send it back to us. Then we manually input it into RT. Why not just do the inputs once and have them populate their own profile. It's 2023, this should be easy to do.

Employer Field - Add dropdown feature to list Employers the user can select from
Our office has dozens of group retirement plans. When adding a new employee contact record, we want our office associates to select from a list of employers. Currently the Employer Field is open to any text allowing office associates to enter employer any which way. For example. IBM may be listed as IBM or International Business Machines or Intl Bus Machines. Because we use the employer field in creating quick lists, it is not useful if the employer field is not entered consistently. This is why I suggest a dropdown.
