  1. Contact Record

    Contact Record - when adding an employer, a new contact record is automatically created for the employer/company. The status is listed as non-specified. Would like to see RT automatically list the company as BUSINESS or EMPLOYER. I am cleaning up our database and I have tons of NON SPECIFIED records. If I delete the record, IT DELETES IT FROM THE CLIENT'S CONTACT RECORD. Not good... Also, if i change the status of the client to prior client or if I delete a client, the contact record for the employer still remains. It should transfer along with the client contact record.…

  2. Allow required fields on the contact record, if not completed can't save the contact

    It would be great if we could require certain fields on the contact record for that record to them be saved. This would reduce missing data and streamline the Redtail process.

  3. Post it note pop up when on client

    Please add a way to attach a post it note to the client record so when you open the client record the note pops up right away with out having to look through previous notes.

  4. new field on client record

    We are a pet friendly firm using a pet friendly CRM (Redtail) and we have a LOT of pet friendly clients... We would LOVE to have a field to enter those clients pets and their names for easy reference when speaking to our clients!

  5. add field for client pets and their names

    Please add a field for client Pets with their names! We are a dog-friendly firm with a lot of pet-friendly clients and we use the best dog-friendly CRM around... So, we would love to be able to add client's pet type and name to a field so we can reference their pets by name quickly when chatting with clients in the future. :)

  6. Time Stamps on UDFs

    It would be helpful if we had a time stamp for the last time a UDF was updated next to the UDF. It would not be part of the Excel sheet data if we were to pull a report using a Custom Export with the UDF on it. It would just be to tell the last time that field was updated for the database users.

  8. Change "Servicing Advisor" and "Writing Advisor" fields under contact details.

    Please make the "Servicing Advisor" and "Writing Advisor" fields in the contact details more generic and add additional fields. For example:
    "Advisor 1"
    "Advisor 2"
    "Advisor 3"
    A third option would be great, the ability to rename these fields would be even better.

  9. adding permissions - make it possible by user or advisor, rather than by contact record.

    It would be so much easier to add contact permissions by user or advisor. As mentioned by several other entries, adding one user at a time with 25 users to work through is not efficient. Especially with each new record and spouse!!!

  11. Duplicate A Contact

    It would be helpful to create a contact (especially business contacts which have many of the same contact fields) then be able to duplicate that contact and then change just the name and email address or whatever. Almost like a Save As function, this would save a lot of time and reduce errors of having to retype the same information over and over for multiple similar contacts.

  12. Align Household Marital Status in Contact Details with the Household

    Instead of having the household ALWAYS showing a couple as married allow that field to match the marital status in contact details. There are many reasons why we have someone householded together and they may not be married. This causes confusion for staff and can lead to uncomfortable conversations when we misrepresent how two people are connected.

  13. All contacts should be accessible especially names in the departments for a business

    A contact person can be under a business account such as in a department. When searching contacts these names do not come up unless the business is searched. There should be a way that every contact person name is included in the search engine data.

    If multiple banks are listed in the client record, allow us to toggle for a choice of accounts when using LaserApp. It's the same premise as how we are able to choose family members.

    We have many clients with multiple banks listed and as toggle isn't an option, we have to manually enter the information for the second bank. This opens the door for errors.

    Add customizable dashboard. We need to create layouts/forms with user-defined fields organized differently for administrative staff and advisors. Our former ACT! CRM provided this ability. The Redtail dashboard tends to "scratch where it doesn't itch" for our needs.

    - household income
    - Estimated yearly savings rate
    - Desired retirement year
    - Desired gross retirement income
    - household social security income at FRA
    - household social security income with claiming strategy

  17. Contact Headers

    It would be nice to be able to Add your own Header on the Contact Pages, ex: A+ Clients, A Clients, B Clients, Etc...
    Rather than only being able to use - Favorites, Contacts A-Z, Advanced Search, Lists and Recycle Bin.
    We would like to be able to change these.

  18. It would be nice if we could notate whether or not an address is an owned property of the client.

    It would be nice if we could somehow mark an address for a client as being owned by them or if the client is just renting at that address.

  19. On a contact’s page, under Employer, it would be great to see everyone else who works at the same employer, without leaving the page.
