  1. completed date

    On activities we should be able to put a completed date in the past.
    e.g. If I have a mtg on 5.3.22 but couldnt complete my notes and details until 5.10.22 , the system shows the activity was completed on 5.10.22 and no option to actually list 5.3.22 when the activity was really completed.

  2. Allow user to set up a default for any activity "attendees" to be three people, or a team rather than just that one user.

    Saves time and remembering to drop down and add attendees for every activity set up by all Redtail users. Better notification process fro both activity actions and addition of new Notes for a contact.

  3. Redtail Notification

    Add a URL link to the Redtail record in the notification email. This will allow the user to click on the link and go into the record that the activity is for.

  4. Activity Report Export - Add columns for user that completed and completion timestamp

    an activity can be assigned to multiple users but firms what to know/report who actually completed (i.e. user that completes the task). Please include the date/time activity was completed.

  5. Activity template permissions

    I want to be able to pick permissions for activity templates. We are trying to keep each advisor's business separate and only with permissions in activities can that be done fully (so no one unauthorized can edit it, which is what we really want). I thought if we had them use templates they wouldn't have to remember to do that each time but that isn't an option I see. Please add!

  6. A quick daily/weekly overview of "notes" and/or "comments" made from the day/s before.

    My employer comes in every day asking what have we done and where are we with this person.
    If he could just open up Redtail CRM and click a tab and it would give him an overview of all the comments and notes made the day before, it would answer everything he needs to know.

  7. Go directly to "Activity Details" when creating a new activity

    We want to be able to go straight to the activity details page when creating a new activity. This would create some efficiencies for our team (fewer clicks for activity creation) but, more importantly, it would reduce duplicate email notifications for activities.

    For example, right now, when we click "Add activity" and add the relevant details in the abbreviated "Create Activity" window, attendees get an "activity assigned" notification email as soon as we click "create & edit" and then another "activity updated" email once we actually have the opportunity to get to the activity details screen to add a description…

  8. Links in Automated Redtail Notification Emails

    When a notification is emailed, it should have a corresponding link in the email to click to take you directly to the task/activity.

  9. link activity template automatically with note template

    When using a Note template, we can select Create Follow-Up Activity so it will automatically initiate a new activity, but if we could predetermine the activity template that would be best.

    For instance selecting a note template for RegBI Conversation - it would be great to allow me to open the RegBI Tracking Activity we have set up in the tracker.

  10. In Activity field under individual Contacts, allow users to change default filter

    In the activity field under individual contacts, activities are automatically filtered by "Past Due." I always switch to "Past Due and Next 7." It's a headache to do this every time- can you make it so I can just choose my default setting?

  11. Add a way to "CC" Users *Without Adding them as Attendees on Activities (an FYI)

    Please Add a way to "CC" Users Without Adding them as Attendees on Activities...sort of like an "FYI".

    Very frequently we add activities to the calendar that we want to make other users aware of (admins, etc.), and we want them to receive notifications to make them aware of the event and/or allow it to be visible on their calendar...BUT we don't necessarily want to add them as "Attendees" on the activity, As They are Not Responsible For OR Actually Attending the activity themselves.**

    If RedTail would add a "CC Users" section to Activities so that we can accomplish this,…

  12. Allow archiving of Activity Types and Activity Categories

    This would enable us to keep records where the Activity Type and/or Activity Category were appropriate, but to remove them from the drop down list so they don't get used going forward if they're not appropriate any longer.

  13. Limboed Activities / To-do List

    Create a separate window / list where activities that are in limbo can be dragged to, and then dragged back into the calendar when needed. I'd think of it as a to-do list. Make it so that the activities can be sorted by type and date.

  14. When "Save, Complete, and New" Activities, display calendar

    When marking a task completing and adding new, related follow up Activities:

    1) you can't see what your calendar is to properly schedule the new Activity. If the "related new Activity" might be time-block, phone call, etc., you have to blindly schedule the day/time

    2) When you click "Save, Complete, and New", you can only add 1 more related Activity; there should be the ability to add as many as you'd like: follow up calls, tasks, time blocking, new meetings,

  15. reports on category and type of activity

    Please, Please Please give us the ability to create a customizable report that we can sort by activity category and type. The data is there but you do not give us access to it.
    This would be transformative in reporting and managing client service.

  16. List Company Name on Dashboard when dual contact

    When 2 or more contacts are tired to an activity, all you see is "two contact" It wold be helpful to have the primary company shown, so we n=know what company its for. and then just append (2 other contacts)

  18. group all day activities by color

    Group All Day Activities by COLOR assigned to them. I have created "Calls" to be yellow, "Email follow up" to be green, "Blue" for financial planning. I like to time block my time and do all emails at one time, all calls at another, etc. would be nice to be able to have all of my all day activities showing up next to the same color vs. scattered randomly

  19. Color code tasks from the Dashboard, not just the Calendar

    I would like to be able to see a color code based on my own input on the dashboard for my activities that day. (not just on the calendar)
    For example: if I have multiple trade sheets to process, I can make them all one color, easy to find and complete at the same time.
    Another example is tasks for calling clients, so those types of tasks are easy to find and do together after I have color coded them.

  20. Open Activities

    When there are multiple pages of activities, and you are on the second page, and work on a specific activity, and close it, it takes you back to page one every time. I wish this would be corrected. It's a time waster. Also, being able to move to the second page from the top of the screen vs. just the bottom would be helpful!
