  1. Activity appearing on today's dashboard until it is completed

    We would like to create a task (activity) and set it for a span of several days or weeks, just to ensure that it remains on our today dashboard until we mark it as completed. Currently, the tasks (activities) disappear after the day that they start, even if they are still outstanding.

  2. email reminders on tasks that go uncompleted or possibly overlooked

  4. Group Task add

    I want to have a group of tasks (call them "yearly tasks") that I can press a button and activate on Jan 1st.
    i.e. I want to automate adding each year a task to do the E&O insurance in Feb, do the ADV in March, review this thing in April, etc. Same tasks every year.
    The reason I don't want to just do separate tasks on a yearly repeat is that the boss asks "Did you remember to put in task A? It is very helpful to have a list. So, it would be like a Tag Group list for…

  6. move completed activities from one spouse to another

    When a client passes away, it's our practice to move all of the completed activities to the surviving spouse, if the the deceased client was head of household. I'm currently in the process of doing this and there are 90+ activities to uncomplete and move. It would be nice to select all of the activities, open and completed, and move them over.

  7. list client name at the top of activities and notes

    Currently, The client name is listed at the BOTTOM of notes and activities in the history. I would prefer that it be listed at the TOP in this section:

  8. Things to do Today - More Features in Dashboard

    I contacted support today because I was trying all of my team to see in Today's Dashboard all the activities for the day. The thing is, the only way they are able to see it is if I put them as attendees, in some cases they are, but in most cases I'm the one with the task; and I just want them to see it in their main page. Right now we are forced to go to the Activities Tab, and then filter accordingly. Can we just have the ability in Today's Dashboard, that if set a particular task to…

  9. Phone Icon

    When scheduling a conference call with a client, it would be nice to be able to see a small icon phone receiver next to the scheduled appointment so we can differentiate between a conference call and an in-house meeting with the client. Thanks.

  10. More information in account linking - Not Commpleted

    It would be nice to differentiate between account types (product). All I see is a bunch of account numbers, custodian (and clients have same custodian so that's not useful) and one management type. We'd prefer product, registration or ability to pick what we see if there is limited space.

  11. "Linked Contact" should be required field in "Activities"

    "Linked Contact" should be a required item in Activities. Currently, "Subject" is the only required field. We are experiencing problems with meetings being scheduled with no linked contact. Thank you.

  12. notification

    If an activity is created by user A and assigned to User B. It would be nice if when user B completes the activity user A could be notified via email as if there were an attendee on the email.

    It would be great to have a box selection for this when the creator generates the redtail and assigns it or that be the deault on the activity is created.

  13. Template required fields

    Required fields for template: would be great if we could customize certain templates to enable certain fields to be populated for saving/creating a task. I.E. for Trading template tasks, that we could require the location field to be required (as that is where we input client account numbers). So that a task would have to be populated with certain information to be saved (but only for certain templates)

  14. Having activities show up on the things to do today page everyday for a 3/4 day period

    I would love it if when I set an activity for a 3/4 day period and it shows up every day on my things to do today page rather than just showing up on the first and last day of the activity. I know it would show up on the calendar but I prefer to see it on my things to do today page every day for the duration period as a reminder until I get it completed.

  15. Allow us to remove the category Customer Serice. We use Client Service.

    Please allow us to delete the Catagory titled Customer Service. Industry wide, we call our clients, "Clients," not Custmers. The Customer Service category is hard wired wtih RT and cant be removed. It just adds another Category that causes confusion and shouldn't be used.

  17. Activities add excllude weekend and holidays option

    When creating activities please add the option for excluding weekend and holidays when selecting the recurrence timing

  18. Linked Contacts suggestion populate alphabetically

    Contacts suggestions in places like "Linked Contacts" in activity details, or search bar should populate alphabetically by first and/or last name. This happens in the search bar currently but not the "Linked Contacts" field which is a guessing game currently on where the contact is on that list.

  19. Disable delete ability for activity

    There should be a way for an Admin to disable/remove the delete option for other users, in relation to activities. Any user should not be able to go in to any activity and simply delete it.

  20. Activity Start & End Date - Past Due

    Activities should NOT show past due if the end date has not passed yet.
    If Redtail is not able to adjust this right now can a column be added to the activity list view? "Start Date" & "End Date" that way we can at least see those dates in the list view?
    We are not able to keep an accurate track record of the activities that are past due or the activities on someone's plate - including the time allotment for the task. What is the point of the end date field if it doesn't show on the activity list…
