dont delete activity when multiple users are in same activity
I am baffled that I was told this is not a glitch. But, when two users are updating one task simultaneously, one of them will simply be ignored, and none of their new data will be captured in the task. they will have no idea the task was not updated unless they quality control every item and spend an hour each day making sure redtail did capture what redtail was supposed to capture. see ticket 992803 for background if you want

Completing an Activity with Multiple Users
We like to assign office activities to multiple users (for example: submitting an idea for a charity we are apart of) but its challenging that we can't individually mark our personal completion of the activity as complete (I submitted my idea for the charity but other users have not). I wish the activity would not officially complete until all user's marked their share as complete. But if an individual user marked their share as complete, it still appears as complete on their calendar .

Add feature to upload files through the mobile RedTail
When using RedTail mobile I have been unable to upload files into activities. This would be a nice feature to have when working on a trip or when not having a computer available.

scheduling reoccurring activities
There used to be more options for scheduling re-occurring activities! I have client who don't always want to meet every so many days/weeks/or months.... we like to select a certain day every April and November for instance. Can we have those options returned please???!!! When the changes were made it removed A LOT of activities off our calendar and clients are getting confused now.

Recurring Activity Attendees
There is a glitch in the system. In a recurring activity, if I send the one of them to a different attendee to complete their section it assigns that attendee to all the future ones in the series, even when selecting "Occurance" during the update to that one. Please fix so we can use as intended moving forward.

Under Activities, Displaying Both names rather than "2 Users" .
We have numerous couples that are clients. When assigning activities, I must do a 2-step process in order to get them both on the activity. Once both clients names are on the activity, the activities section shows "2 users" linked to the activity rather than both names forcing me to do ANOTHER step in order to view who the activities belongs to. Can we please change the "2-users" to display the actual names of both contacts tied to the activity as well as the "assigned" users to display the agents working on the activity.

Why do I have to filter my dates in activities every time I sign into Redtail
It should automatically stay that way. Another inconvenient time consuming thing in Redtail!!

List the day of the week - Activities
Please associate the day of the week when looking at Activities. It would be very helpful for scheduling purposes.

Invoicing
Similar to the create and activity, would be to create an invoice. After compiling notes those who are billed for planning services, it would be convenient to move right to invoice generation.

Lock Open Activities from Editing
We would like to see an ability for "lock editing" on activities so that only the person who created the activity can make changes. All users and attendees can view, but only the creator (or designated user (s)) can edit.

auto save
Please autosave anytime the window is closed for any reason, even if going to another task or to client record or.... Please autosave after each line is completed. Please autosave all the time. It is so frustrating to loose work and have to do it over and over, when you are in a busy environment and constantly being pulled to do other things only to find what you just entered into Redtail is gone.

Activity Owner vs. Attendee Permissions - Prevent Unauthorized Editing of Activities
We would like to see an ability for "lock editing" on activities so that *Only the person who created the activity can make changes. All users and attendees can view, but only the creator (or designated user (s)) can edit.
There needs to be a way to set permissions on an activity for users…
For example, I need my co-workers to See my activities, but I do Not want them to have the ability to Edit my entries.

Allow activities to automatically roll forward every day
We just transitioned from ACT. In ACT all activities that were not completed during the day automatically rolled forward to the following day. There was no need to check for incomplete activities in ACT. It would be very helpful to incorporate this feature into RedTail.

Assign a Task to a client
I would love it if you add a new feature to your Tasks. This is the ability
to assign a Task to a client. Why? Often I give them a to do list, that is,
things they need to accomplish and when I meet with them later on, I want
to be able to ask them if they got those things done. How do I remember
what I ask them to do? If you were to let me assign a Task to a client,

List of activities should have a Sort-able Due Date Column
Under the Activities menu item, there should be a column for the due date and you should be able to sort the list of activities by this date, like the other currently available columns. Without it, if you have an activity to call the client in two months, it shows on top when sorting by date, yet it has the latest due date of all activities.

Add a button
You should add a button so when we schedule something (other than a meeting) and it's not done on the date it was assigned, it can automatically roll forward. We waste way too much time moving past items not yet completed forward into the current day. It would be far easier and less stressful to have an option to have these items move automatically to the next day. This is done in most other CRM like Act and others.

Comments in Linked Notes
In Activities, under Linked Notes, it would be beneficial to add an indicator (maybe an astrick) to a note when someone has added a comment. There is no way of knowing if someone has commented, unless you open the note.

Please add back the task repeat options. I would like to set up a task to repeat yearly on a specific day, not date.
You recently took away several task repeating options, please add them back so I can choose how often and what day to repeat our tasks. The only option now is to repeat on the exact same date each year. This doesn't work since that date could be a Sat or Sun on the following year.

It would be helpful if we could change the default font, to a larger font, in the body of the activity.

CSA in Activity Attendee Drop-Down
Add the check box for "CSA" in the attendee drop-down inside each Activity to easily assign it to the CSA that is already assigned to that client, that way we don't have to go lookup who it is first.
