Notes customization
Notes Customization - Within the contact record it would nice to modify the view so that the Notes page is easier on the eye. I type a ton of notes, but I ultimately see a ton of white space on my page because the notes dialogue boxes are huge and don't really show the meat, just the fat. Think text message bubbles.

Add section for Original Depositor Information
I don't want to create a new contact, but the DOB, DOD, and SS# for the original depositor of a person's beneficiary IRA is good information to have on hand.

Add Status (and Category) columns to Membership (pdf) report
Add Status (and Category) columns to Membership (pdf) report so it is complete and same as Memberships tab. For instance, if a member is deceased this is not evident by the report.

notify and save
It would be nice to have both the option to save an update to an activity without notifying other users and also have the option to save and activity and notify other users. Automatic notifications every time the activity is updated creates a lot of unnecessary emails, but I wouldn't want to lose the notifying functionality.

Client since mail merge field for Business Anniversary Cards
We send clients a business "Anniversary Card" each year during the month they hired us. The mail merge says:
We wanted to acknowledge Sept 2005 as the month you became our client. Please know we are honored you've put your trust in us the last 14 years and we look forward to many more years working for you.
Can we get a mail merge field for the number of years from the "Client Since" field? It appears the program is already calculating the number, we just need it to be available in a mail merge.

I would like to run my run my clients birthdays from January 1 to December 31
I would like to run all my clients birthdays from January 1 to December 31 but Redtail only lets me run birthdays from 30 in advance to up to 365 days in advance. I need this birthday list of my clients so the card company I use can send my clients their birthday cards each month.

Hold Time
Rather than waiting on hold for however many minutes before a tech support associate comes online (today 12 minutes) have your system allow the caller to leave a call back number that will be answered in the same order it was received without having to remain on hold.
Just a thought.

Quicker access to drop down menu to change opportunity stage
In the opportunities menu... you currently have to click on edit and pull up the opportunity to mouse over to the stage, pull the drop down, and select the new stage.
Much quicker would be to have that drop down available right from the opportunities list. Click on the stage, and you get the whole list, and then you can update the stage.

archive email
When we archive an client's email because they don't want to receive bulk email from us maybe the archive email word can change from blue to red to signal an email is archived.

Redtail Mobile App 3.0+ View Household Members
When going to visit clients we like to ask how the family is doing. While on the road we like to review the clients info so that we better know our client when we walk in the door. Names are important for us so If we can view household members and link them to a contact record that would finally allow us to move from Outlook notes to being fully covered with just the RedTail mobile app. I know there are similar ideas out there but with the new mobile app update I wanted to iterate how knowing our client…

Adding an automation for multiple people responsible for a workflow. i.e advisor notes vs admin adding to CRM
In our on boarding workflow both the Advisor and the admin team have different responsibilities that follow one another. One must be done before you can proceed to the next step, but we get held up when the Advisor doesn't do their part,eg. client notes, personal card, etc. If an alert or email was automated to be sent to the next person responsible, we wouldn't have to call them out or keep asking them to do it.

Add multiple contacts to Workflows
When you are attempting to automate a workflow by starting when you set a specified activity, it would be great if you are able to link multiple contacts to a single workflow. This would be especially useful since many client meetings are between 2 spouses and an advisor.
One way of fixing it would be to allow you to enter multiple contacts within the linked contact section on a new activity. Otherwise, if you can make it so that you can link a household name as the linked contact, that would work as well. This would help immensely when it…

send notification or reminder the a workflow has started or to remind people they have something due
When creating a new workflow, I want to let someone know that the process has started. IT would be great to be able to have a drop down option "Notify User" that would send a notification to people who may not have tasks but you want notified that the process has started.
Similarly, for workflows that I created and are overdue, the ability to send a reminder that someone has a task due.
These would override the user's notification preferences on just those workflows.

Workflow task bulk delete
Add radio buttons to the left of each workflow task so I can bulk delete a number of tasks all at once. Our meeting workflow template has every task that may need to be completed for a client meeting and inevitably some tasks need to be deleted from every workflow.
