Client Review should read 'Last Review' and should be 'Overdue' if not completed on time
know your client, client review tab should read "last review" and if the next review is not completed on time, it should read "overdue"
The suggestion may be planned, but there is no timeline on this feature being added.
This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

Would be nice if there was a preference at the database level as to whether or not the next date automatically updates. We have about 150 firms using Redtail and the ones that use the review feature are pretty split on this.

This is the one most important thing that will make the program more useful.

It would be much easier and very helpful if we could directly change the "Next Review Date" under "Know Your Client", when editing the Client Review category as opposed to being required to navigate through the menu of Next, Repeat, how often, etc. So often we speak to a client and set an appointment and would just like to submit that date that we decide on with each client. Much easier and much quicker. Could we somehow override that long menu.

The way that the Client Review fields are set up right now is a nightmare for us. First of all, I don't know anyone who says to their clients, "Ok, we'll have our next meeting on the 1st Thursday of October next year."
We were able to work around the system by setting the "review frequency" and working backwards to get it to show the correct review date for a client, but this has changed now as well as they won't let you save the information unless you enter a "X Day of X Month of X Frequency" now.
This has been the most frustrating thing for our office since we've switched to Redtail. Why can't we just enter a date for "Next Client Review" like all of the other CRMs have? Or at the very least, why can't we enter the date for next review and keep the frequency like "annually" that would allow the system to set up future reminders.
Please look into changing this so that we can manually enter a "Next Review Date." The system is too difficult for our Advisors to use and too frustrating for our staff to use in its current state.

At present there is no way to track a missed review because the system automatically projects the next review date. Would like to see the system auto-generate an activity/task on the calendar when a client's review date is reached. This way we could easily see any reviews that were missed because it would remain on our calendar until we flagged as completed. It also makes sense to allow for a change to the next review date as these missed reviews would then be scheduled from the actual date the review took place.

Great idea, we need to track when our last review was completed. Currently I use an excel spreadsheet to track that so I know who to schedule meeting with each quarter. It would be nice if Redtail did this for me. Currently we find the client review feature useless. Meeting with clients and tracking how often we meet with them is the core of most advisor's businesses. Thank you for considering.

It's super frustrating when you have to go into a client review date to change a date or have a date drop off the calendar because it rolls to the next date. It would be nice to select the first meeting date and then select whether you want to see the client monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. Moreover, it would be great to have the review reminders stay on the calendar until you've somehow acknowledged that the review reminder can completed.

I have been having a problem/seeing a need to modify this as well. The Next Review date should say Reminder Review Date and second field should be added for Next Review Date which would reflect the Actual Review Date. I have a reminder review date for 2/6/2017 for a client, She just called to schedule a review for 2/16/17. There is no where to put this date without changing the recurring reminder. Also both of these Fields should appear on Review Report as well as Last Review Date.

Agreed! We've used UDFs as a work around but if the client review dates were manual and didn't pre-populate or automatically reset we'd be able to use them.

When a Review Meeting Reminder appears on the "All Day" section of the calendar it reminds us to schedule a review meeting with a client. However, there is no way to "Complete" or make the reminder go away once we have scheduled that client. This would be a very helpful tool to add to this reminder.

Client review system is horrible..
We woudl like to be able to quickly see when the last review was....
Wish there was a spot right next to the picture of the client -

I set my first review date as the last meeting date and then i will have a reminder as the next date is coming up. However, if that date passes, it rolls to the next date. This makes it very difficult to see who is past due. People have listed many work arounds but this is more work for a feature that the old Redtail had. We even have a report for review reminders that give you an option on how many days past due you want when you can't get any days past due.
PLEASE fix this! -

The 'Client Review' section should be more integrated with the calendar so they work together for a more comprehensive client review calendar. When a reoccurring Client Review notice pops up, it should have the ability to schedule the client meeting as an activity in the calendar and mark the review reminder as complete. The review reminder should be set up similar to a task, meaning that it does not go away until it is marked complete. Once the client meeting activity is complete, it should be updated in the Client Review section as "Last Review date".
With the current system to have a client review schedule requires that I put a reminder in Client Review, then create a separate reoccurring task to schedule the meeting, and then create another separate activity for the actual client meeting/contact. In essence I have 3 calendar items for one actual meeting. Not very efficient or calendar-friendly.

Can you please put a note section in when you click on a date in the calendar to schedule a review instead of submitting it and then having to go back in to add a note? I'd like the note section to pop up the first time I am scheduling. Thank you!

Agreed, and I would like the last review date to flow to the timeline or notes so that I can easily see the meeting history of a contact.

I would like the Client Review box to add a line for "Most Recent Review" So you would have "Initial", formula for future reviews, "Most Recent Review"- that could be written in, and"Next Review"

Client Review has initial review date, and a formula for next review date. We would additionally like a field- that could be searched or reported of course- for Latest Client Review to be seen in the same Client Review box. The actual date of the most recent review doesnt always coincide with the formula and it would be very helpful when looking at a client page to quickly see that last date

Would love to see the client review reminders moved to Open Activities and be an option as a way to start a workflow!
I think the moving the client review reminders to open activities and forcing those to be completed would be a great way to make our team more efficient in scheduling reviews. -

Currently we input the date for the first review then schedule the subsequent frequency. Unfortunately this is not very helpful b/c the subsequent review dates do not automatically get populated as an activity or a reminder. So it's a virtually pointless field, unless we manually add it to the calendar there is no reminder or notification.

When the client review date rolls around, I would like the option of making an automation to run a workflow for a client review.
