Client Review should read 'Last Review' and should be 'Overdue' if not completed on time
know your client, client review tab should read "last review" and if the next review is not completed on time, it should read "overdue"
The suggestion may be planned, but there is no timeline on this feature being added.
This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

Currently, the date updates automatically when the date passes. In other words, if Jones had a review in Feb 2015, the next review is due Feb. 2016. If that review DOESN'T HAPPEN, there is no way to tell, as the review date automatically moves to Feb 2017. There needs to be a button to say whether the review actually happened. Then you could run a report with "Last Review" "Past Due Review" and "Next Review". Knowing which ones are Past Due would be very, very useful. Having it automatically move to the next year gives you inaccurate data.

Add field: Last Review Date
It would be helpful to be able to search a history of all client reviews within a specified timeframe -

I would like the ability to enter the last review date for a client into the system and then be able to run a advanced search or report later on so that I can easily see which of my Rep's clients have have had a review and when it was done last.

Review Dates
The automatic update is confusing. But what makes this system even harder to use it that "First Review Date" which we use as last review date is not sort able anywhere. You should be able to get a report of that date so you could know if a client hasn't been in for a while. You should also be able to simply put in a month for client review, though it looks like you can enter "each January" it then prompts you that you haven't chosen a specific day or week. The process of using the review tool was one of the features we thought would be great in Redtail and it functionality is aggravating to say the least! -

We like the ability to have a "next review" option, however we rely on the activities pane to make sure we are checking tasks off as we complete them. The current review system allows an opportunity for things to be missed if for some reason we can't contact a client right away or something else comes up. It would be great I there was a radio button or checkbox added to the review section of a contact profile to add a "reminder" option or "add as a activity/task"

I have to add my voice to the growing chorus here. I am finding the client review feature very confusing. Unless I am using the software incorrectly, it appears that there is no way for a client review to show as "overdue" without automatically updating.
This is a big problem in our practice as well. I agree with other users that the (almost) two years since Redtail's response and any changes give me a bad feeling about much needed changes to this feature and other features in general.

Have an option for "not done" or something like that for skipped appts, activities etc. If a client is a "no show" I don't want to delete the activity or mark it as complete, but want it off the calendar as a open activity

Have a field "last review" that is auto updated after review meeting ; should be displayed on front page list last activity

Just switched over to Tailwag and needed to enter a client's First Review Date. Don't like all the mandatory selections needed in order to calculate the Next Review Date (Repeats every X years, month, Repeats Yearly on). Having to select the month then the day of the week doesn't make sense if you simply want the Next Review Date to calculate based off the First Review Date like the legacy version did.
Also, what happened to Last Review Date? Would be nice to have it as a free form field where we can manually enter the date of the last review.

Right now the system only lets you see client's who are 90 days past due on their scheduled Annual Review.
Example: if a client's meeting schedule is set for 1/1/15, then they "fall off the list" on 4/1/2016.
It would be wonderful if RT would re-code the Preferences section so we could extend the 90 day setting to 365 day or indefinite. That would create a very easy system for us to see who we haven't reviewed with.

We might review with a client prior to their review date or contact them prior to their Alert, and the Reminder does not allow us to mark the Review as complete.

Integrate Know your client Review with actual Activities. Once the adviser has met with the client, enable the last meeting date to be updated.

Certain Clients I am required to do an annual review.
Here is what I would like to be able to automate:
The following is a list of said clients
John Smith
Jane Doe
Richard White
Bob Dole
They are all in the “Annual Review Required” tag group.
I have to an annual review with each of them each calendar year. Not each 365 days.
So if I do a review with Richard White on January 10th, 2016, it is OK if I don’t do his annual review until December 13th , 2017.
What would be nice if on January 1, 2017, every single one of my clients in the “Annual Review Required” tag group were automatically put into the “Annual Review” work flow.
The idea is that throughout the year I would have work flows for each of those clients at a glance to remind me of who still needs an annual review. As I complete said annual reviews, those names would drop off this list of workflows. Can this be done?

Agreed! And from what I gathered from IT, this is only a reminder, not necessarily a review date because if you don't follow up with the client, they will get missed and will not be pulling up on a report!

Under know your client it shows the review dates and generates the next review based just on the date of the 1st review. This isn't always logical because we aren't always able to schedule these clients based on the perimeters we set. I would like to be able to see the ACTUAL dates of the reviews and base the next review on when the most recent review date was. For example John Smith has his 1st review January 1st. Well that isn't logical because Mr. Smith is on holiday until mid February and then he doesn't actually come in until February 14. Well chances are we won't need to see him again on March 1st. Rather we would need to see him May 14.
How this helps: we will be able to see who we need to call with accurate dates. -

Currently, if the client review is not handled in a timely manner, the reminder disappears after a couple of days. Please change this so that it is more like a "task" and has to be "completed" before it goes away. Thank you!

Agree - or even better would be to allow the system to automate this. When a review meeting is due have it automatically generate a template workflow. We have created a workflow for reaching out to a client and scheduling meetings that would work nicely with this feature!

I would like to be able to access a checklist (drop down) list of some kind to indicate what type of appointment the client is having. For example, if it's a review, you could mark it as a review and it would automatically update or populate the "last review date". You should be able to have a list of past review dates. Get rid of the confusion, we don't schedule appointments by the first Tuesday of the 6 month of the year.

Can you show the "review frequency" in the dashboard? We don't use the client review, because of the issues, but could really use the review frequency, even if the review isn't filled out.

"Knowing your Client" instead of wording it "First Review Date" would be helpful to word it "Last Review date". Also, the calculator for the "Next Review Date" doesn't always work.
