  2. Auto-Direct: The feature would work much better if you could also use a comma and initial.

    The only time the feature works is if only one contact exists in the database and that rarely happens. For example if I want to access contact Karen Smith, I propose the following entry: "smith, k" and voila, I am redirected to Karen's main screen.

  3. Business Phone Should Default to 'Work' Type

    From user: When within a business record and entering details for phone number (via "Contact Card"), the default phone number populates to "home" phone number...nirvana would be that it defaulted to "business".

  4. Create a Cash Flow Analysis built exactly like Asset Liability Report

    I like the Asset Liability report PDF for client reviews. It would be nice to have a cash flow analysis with income and expenses that works like the A/L report

  5. Add "Years Until Retirement" next to Retirement Date in Know Your Client

    This would be a helpful feature for quickly looking at a clients record to determine the number of years until they retire. Once we type in the clients birthday and retirement date, the system would calculate the number of years until they hit that retirement date. Much like the anniverary or birthday counting feature. Thanks!!

  6. Add Disability Fields to Business Overhead Policy

    The business overhead policy is basically a disability policy yet the page to enter the information looks like a life insurance policy rather than a disability policy. The fields available for a disability policy need to be available for a business overhead policy.

  7. Allow users to choose columns under CRM Document Storage.

    Our office would prefer to replace "File Size" with "Description" to be able to view the document description from the CRM Document Storage Field.

  8. Add Account Details Tooltip on Account Overview Page

    We cannot see all of the account data in the columns at a glance. Perhaps there could be a "hover" feature added where you can hover over the data and see all of the information. Thank you.

  9. list management hierarchy

    When managing lists a user cannot organize the list other than alphabetical/numerical hierarchy. So instead of needing to place a "1" and "2" etc for each list entry, allow the user to pace the list item where they prefer in the hierarchy (i.e., create the list items, then allow us to drag and drop in the order we would like each list item to be).

  11. Please add the option to a bulk 'Review Frequency' change

    It would be a great help if we had the ability to change the review frequency for more than one client at a time. From the search page under 'Options' have the option 'Bulk Review Frequency Change'

  12. Automatic Email or Text Message Appointment Reminders to Clients

    Could Redtail generate a reminder email (or even text message) to clients 24-48 hours prior to a scheduled appointment? The reminder would be generated by the calendar appointment and be sent to the email or phone number within the linked contact screen.

  13. Track Commissions

    Please provide a report page that shows outstanding revenues that can be targeted, both for Commissions and for AUM (Assets Under Management). This feature will allow advisors to see all of their revenues that they can potentially acquire, if they close all of their outstanding prospective business. Please list Commissions and AUM for each Prospect/Client and a Total for all outstanding amounts at the top of the page. Thanks!

  17. rider note information

    need to fully explain riders in accounts and need a specific section for rider (not notes) as notes can pile up and then rider explanation gets lost. there's a character limit in rider bar which doesn't allow for explanation in the bar either.

  18. Unique Email Dropbox to auto attach to Contact

    This does NOT need to be hosted email with RT It can be ANY email provider. The only key here is the unique dropbox email address.

    This would be an email unique to each user on a database. By simply forwarding an email to this address or by bcc when sending a new email to a contact, the email will be attached to the contact's notes corresponding to the original email (if forwarded) or to the email being sent to (if sending a new email).   19. Enhance the liability section of the database to permit vital details like rate, term, product, etc.

    I use Redtail for mortgage management as well. Having more details about the mortgage would be of great help...date closed, rate, term, product, home type (primary, secondary, investment). These details would be of great help managing clients mortgage balances

  20. Data Entry when Adding Documents

    When uploading you just have the option to upload the document and then go back and change everything. Any way it can be changed so that all of the information on the document is stored when you upload it.
