Notes Comments Collapsed by Default
Prior to 12/2025, comments on Notes were automatically collapsed by default, but, beginning approx. 12/08/2025, they are all now automatically expanded.
This is particularly frustrating to me for at least 2 reasons: 1) it really clutters up my screen and requires a lot of scrolling (haha), unless I click on the option to collapse comments under each Note and 2) it causes security/privacy concerns while sharing my screen with someone else (unless I open every Note I may possibly need to view and then collapse any sensitive comments before screen sharing, or constantly pause/un-pause if sharing electronically).

Scrap Worflows and Start Over
Let's go RedTail. Improve your look & feel, functionality, and logic.
For example, Workflows are totally unworkable and forces practices to track processes in other applications, opening the door to your competition.
There are so many other applications that handle repetitive processes in a more logical and user-friendly method. Do some research and hire away some programmers, Orion.

Adding account selection to workflows
Please add the option of linking an account to a workflow (similar to how you tag an account to an activity). This would prevent manual entry of an account number when working on a workflow that that is needed. For example, if the workflow is to move money in or out of a particular account, it would be nice to tag the particular account that is affected to the workflow. It shouldn't be mandatory to create a workflow, but optional based on account-specific workflows.

Do not automatically expand comments under notes section in client record
Please return to having users drill down to the comments in the notes section of a client record. This morning we found the comments suddenly expanded on all notes in our clients' records. We rely heavily on note and comments, however, with the comments automatically showing, our team is spending an undue amount of time scrolling through the notes section to find pertinent information.

view projected revenue on opportunity page
I would like to have the projected revenue be visible in the total calculated on the opportunities dashboard, not just the total projected dollar amount. This would be a way to track potential income, which is very important to us advisors.

Outlook, Calendar, Email...One CRM?
Dear Redtail,
I'm likely going to have to break up with you. We have only been together for a few months, but I don't feel heard or understood. one year anniversary
It would be great if there was the option to set an alert for a new client's one year anniversary with their advisor. Ideally, after the "Client SInce: " field, there could be a check box asking if we want a reminder of the anniversary, similar to how the 'enable dob reminder' functions.

search on primary phone/email/address
I can run a report on clients that show what phone #s, emails, and addresses are designated as primary but I cannot run a search to see just those clients that have (or don't have) a primary phone/email/address designated. We need to have a search option to see that so we don't have to run a report and delete the non-needed information

Workflow tasks should show up in the regular activity list of "things to do today".
I would like Workflow Tasks to show up in the regular activity list of "things to do today". That way, I can view past, upcoming, etc. workflow tasks in my regular activities list. Our entire office, including owner, HATE having to go to a completely separate area to see workflow tasks. As a matter-of-fact, many Workflow tasks are missed because they do not show in the regular activities list. This feature would be VERY helpful in doing our work, planning, and filling in when staff members are absent.

Expand Automation
While the automation function is a time saver, its functionality is far too limiting as we are not provided sufficient options. For instance (and this is just one example), we use (or have been trying to use) our categories to have a more refined view of client- and account-impacting notes. However, automation emails sent out via FMG (e.g., schedule a meeting, invitation to client events, newsletters, etc.) all get dumped into the same category. We'd like to be able to see, at a glance, notes that are key to client/account management, as well as who's being invited, who's being reminded,…

Important Information
I have feedback for a recommendation regarding how a notification is displayed when a profile has information entered in the important information box. Please see the attached PDF.
Adding a Red bar and filling the space immediately below the bar with the profile name with the "Important Information" would be much better. This addition would just serve as a reminder to click and view the important comments box.
I believe this improvement would be extremely beneficial to all users and Redtail itself. This notification is much more obvious which greatly decreases the likelihood that important information is overlooked or disregarded…

Customize the Contacts' Sidebar
When viewing a contact/client profile, we use some of the sidebar links frequently and some not at all. I would love to change my Contact Record preference settings so that the categories I use all the time (Accounts, Workflows, Documents, Notes, Activities, Permissions/Roles) are at the top of the list.

Add the date a workflow is created
We use workflows daily, and itis challenging to determine the age of a workflow. It would help if the date the workflow was created were automatically noted in the Workflow section, so we can sort by date and address older workflows that need attention.

Love the new dark mode, but when i look at email history all the text is in black against a dark grey background and I can't read it. any way to format this section?

Speak app push notifications
Enable push notifications on Redtail Speak Mobile App. This seems like a rudimentary feature when building an app and it's been months since there has been any communication on getting it done.

When using RT SPEAK, it should automatically activate once inside RT CRM. Silly and inefficient if we signed up for this to have to constantly press the three...... buttons to activate
