Give us a link we can send a new contact to input their OWN data into RT. Right now, we send aform to them to fill out contact info - they manually type it out and send it back to us. Then we manually input it into RT. Why not just do the inputs once and have them populate their own profile. It's 2023, this should be easy to do.

adult children
We need a Family Tree tab or a section devoted to keeping track of and quickly communicating intergenerational relationships. The membership tab should be renamed/replaced with sections that show dependent (within household) and non-dependent relationships (within family but outside of household).

Allow us to Edit Notes
Give us the ability to edit our notes once posted, not just add an additional comment below the note.

'Assigned to' Activity Column Viewing
It would be helpful if the 'Assigned To' column within the Activities tab were able to be permanently expanded to show all users (instead of stating "3 users", for example, and list out the names).

Show Workflows and Activities in the Client's Note Section
Open (and competed) Activities and Workflows should appear in the Notes section of the client's Redtail, rather than only being able to view activities once completed and having to scroll all the way to the bottom to view active workflows.

Can we have workflows with an option to disregard the target date but be able to have steps be spaced out from each other. For instance, Step 1 is due 1/1 and step 2 is due three days after step 1 is completed. I believe this way it would make it easier to keep track on steps and stay on track for timing if a step has to be pushed back.

Office 365 links to documents
It would be great for the linked documents section to have a prompt for Office365 or general weblinks. When you post a document into Redtail it becomes static. Posting a link would share the "living document" that we can then access repeatedly on recurring tasks or complex projects requiring more users.

Have "Owner" of a Workflow also be the "Assignee" of all Workflow Tasks
If I am creating a workflow, I can assign the "Owner" of the workflow to a specific user, but there is no way for me to assign the underlying Tasks to that specific user unless I go into each task individually.
There should be an option within the workflow template to initially assign each task to the workflow owner. This way, I can start a workflow, make a specific user the Owner, then all tasks will be assigned to that owner.

Annual Review Checkbox
Annual Review Check Box - it would be incredibly helpful within appointments or phone calls to have a check box to mark "Annual Review" so that when the activity is completed it updates the annual review date for the client to show completed on the date the activity is completed.

Sticky Notes to add to client file
Be able to add a "post-it-like" note to a client file so it stands out instantly. This could serve as a reminder to give them something next time they are in the office, or ask them about such and such....
I don't want to sift through client notes, or use a pinned note- this doesn't stand out enough.

Color coding for Employees/Advisors
We are needing a way to color code per our advisors/employees, not just for different activities. Is anything planned for this??

Setting preferences for each activity type length
Setting a preferred length of time for each activity type, ie appointments would be an hour & 15 mins, tasks 15 minutes, phone call 30 minutes, etc. so when setting those tasks it defaults to that amount of time automatically without having to adjust the times from where you clicked on the calendar.

Adding color coding for advisors
As of now, the color coding technology is in place for categorizing by activity type. I currently work as a registered assistant for 3 different advisors all integrated with Redtail. It would be great if I could color code my calendar by advisor also instead of just by activity type. When I see client meeting pop up I know what type of meeting it is by color but it would much more useful if I knew what advisor it was for instead. Thanks in advance!

add ability to sort / filter activities by a contact's status or contact's category (e.g. segment)
we have our clients segmented into 4 categories and it would be really helpful to be able to look at activities, especially past due activities by client segment. If we could filter the past due activities by contact category that would allow us to to see what outstanding activities remain by client service tier

Comments in Linked Notes
In Activities, under Linked Notes, it would be beneficial to add an indicator (maybe an astrick) to a note when someone has added a comment. There is no way of knowing if someone has commented, unless you open the note.

Task Rollovers
Tasks and Calls that are "Open" (not completed) should automatically rollover - otherwise they can get lost. As an alternative, allow this to be a choice under user preferences.

calendar color coding each calendar user
Have a different color for each calendar user - For example - my supervisor and I share calendars - to know which calendar items are mine and which are hers - would be nice if we could use a different color to distinguish between the two. Also, can the color be changed for each task/appointment without changing the color of the entire calendar?

Redtail Speak, please add ability for administrators to view all conversations and have overview of which individuals are enrolled.
Provide administrators with an overview of client activations of Redtail Speak. Have the ability to view conversations initiated by other users for compliance oversight. Need the ability to monitor text exchanges to ensure compliance with SEC directives.

Multiple linked contacts in workflows - Display their names, not "2"
Multiple linked contacts in workflows - Display their names, not "2".
Also, have a button that says "link to spouse" if there is a spousal contact present in the database. This would save users from having to search for the spouse.

Only one user editing a Task at a time
Will you please make it so only one person can be in an activity at a time. My colleagues and I have experienced having lost important information or date changes to a task because 2 people or more were in the same task.
