  1. Bulk complete Workflows

    I wish there were an option to bulk complete workflows. There are several abandoned workflows that I want to clean up, but I don't want to delete them. If I were able to complete them in bulk, I would be able to keep a record for compliance and it would be so much more efficient.

  3. workflow

    I am new to Redtail and upon being shown a demo we were impressed by the Workflows. It was not made clear that the "templates" were not actually templates that could be used but only a sample. It would be extremely helpful to actually have TEMPLATES that customers could use instead of having to create them from scratch.

  4. Workflow for Creating Workflows

    If Workflows are useful tools for accomplishing repeated tasks, what better demonstration than for Redtail to set up a Workflow for Creating Workflows. It would be helpful to those already competent using Workflows and very helpful to new users who are struggling to create their own workflows.

  5. Current step due date is not correct! Please use DUE DATE under current step

    The fact that I am having such a hard time describing how difficult workflows are should explain the problem right there....however, the current step due date on the workflow list is inaccurate- it should be the CURRENT STEP

  6. Workflow Email Notification Option - Way too many emails going out.

    Allow a WORKFLOW NOTIFICATION OPTION in PREFERENCES that simply notifies team members when each "STEP" is complete, NOT whenever there is a minor edit to a name, a new task added (that they are NOT assigned to), etc. Way too many notifications going out to senior team members.

  7. workflow task

    Change "complete" for Workflow steps and tasks to a button control rather than a simple text hyperlink. Users are confused and see the word "complete" after a task and assume that is the current state of the task/step. A button control is more indicative of something that causes an action.

  8. Mail Merge Fields in Workflow Titles

    The title of a workflow defaults to the template name, which usually is not very informative for the end users.

    We always change the workflow title to the following format: "Client last name, Client first name - Account Number - description of task".

    I'd like to be able to have a mail merge field be a part of the template, for naming the title of the workflows.

    For example, we run 300 quarterly reviews via bulk workflow launch. They're all named the exact same thing so it's hard to tell who the workflow is for, without having their name in…

  10. Workflow Templates - Increase Viewable Entries per Page & Ability to Stay on Current Page upon Refresh

    Give option to view more entries per page on Workflow Templates. Currently only able to view 25 & lacks functionality like contacts search has to view (50, 100, or more). Also, give ability to stay on same page when refreshing page instead of redirecting back to page one.

  11. Trigger Webhooks on Workflow Step Completion

    An "Outcome" option for workflow steps should be the ability to trigger a Webhook POST http request to a custom URL. The admin should be able to customized the request so that contact and workflow fields can be included in the body of the request.

  12. workflow dashboard

    During tax season when we have a ton of tax WFs and a ton of Quarterly Report WFs in addition to our normal WFs, it becomes difficult to see "how we're doing."

    It would be great to have a WF dashboard that reflects how far you are with WFs and if WFs are getting stuck on one team member or step.

    We end up having a separate spreadsheet for the tax WFs to let us know how we're doing at a glance. It seems like this could be built into RT.

  13. Workflows Page - Add Percent Complete Column to Main Dashboard

    You cannot see the percent complete field in the main workflows dashboard. You can see it once you click into each individual workflow. Can we have the percent complete column added to the main dashboard screen. Can you add all columns and have an ability to choose your columns view similar to the way you can select certain columns on the contacts overview.

  14. Workflow Tasks Assigned to Business Day

    Allow the calculation of workflow days to be done by business days. Currently we have activities occurring 14 consecutive days but skipping the weekend. So it then pushes multiple days onto Monday instead of skipping the weekend all together. It is a logical flaw in the way workflows work.

  15. Ability to enter a Target Date independent of Start Date

    Perhaps this is already done but I can't figure it out. The situation is as follows; scheduling clients for reviews in 2 months. My review prep workflow spans 4 weeks prior to that meeting. I'd like to set the Target Date the date of the review. Thus clients can be entered all at once but have different start dates for their workflow based on their review dates. Savvy?

  16. Adding steps with tasks built out to drag and drop into different workflows and templates

    For example, if I wanted to build out multiple workflows that include the step "Open IRA Account" (with corresponding tasks below), rather than building that step out each time or cloning, I would be able to pull that particular step and tasks from a bank of stored steps/tasks

  17. Save the selected Workflow Step Outcome "text" within step completion notes as first line.

    Otherwise the Outcome selected is lost and is not save anywhere for reference of what was selected.

  18. Adding Contact Role Advisor at Contact Level to Owner/Role Role/Advisor at Workflow Template Level

    We are a 2-person shop with no staff. Some clients are joint while others are solo for either advisor.

    At the contact record level under "Contact Roles" the Advisor is assigned solely to that client if a solo client and for joint clients one advisor is assigned as Advisor and other advisor is assigned as "Associate Advisor".

    When setting up a workflow automation from a meeting creation for the client record, we'd like for the workflow to be assigned to the Advisor to then carry out all the steps of the workflow template. Currently, "Role/Advisor" at contact record level is…

  19. when revising workflow template

    when revising a workflow template, all current workflows that have been started for a particular client but not yet been completed, should be updated to match the revisions made to the workflow template.

    I currently need to delete my workflow and start over again by attaching it to a client

  20. Updating opened or assigned workflows to sync to template updates

    When updating a workflow template, existing workflows should have the option to be updated as well, without deleting the existing data. For instance the completed tasks should not be touched. If however, there are additional steps or rewording of steps/tasks, we should have the option to update assigned/opened workflows as well.
