Third Party Access to Opportunities
We work with an estate attorney that does estate planning for some of our higher end clients. We would like to have the ability to allow him access to our Opportunities Tab (only). So that we could keep track of the progress and next steps.

Functional "Projected Revenue" and "Actual Revenue" Fields in Opportunities
It seems incredibly strange to me the fields listed as "Projected Revenue" and "Actual Revenue" exist only for the sake of ornamentation.

When adding stages to the opportunities, some additions should close the opportunity. For ex, I've added NQ (non-qualified); it's still open

Telephone Message Board
Our firm uses a separate phone message board website to post phone messages when a client calls. Currently, we have to copy the message and post it into a new note in the client's contact. This is done many times a day.
To have a phone message board (a separate section) available in Redtail, so messages can be posted in the message section for a user and also saved in a note in the client's contact would be so helpful. This would also help greatly with compliance, as well as ensuring all communications with a clients is in one location.

In Office Chat Box
I would love if Red Tail had the ability to allow chat sessions between our in-office contacts. If our admin was able add co-workers into a chat or messenger style system for everyone in the office to communicate about tasks and activities within redtail.

Add the availability for users to copy previous opportunities and then only need to update the deposit date. This will make recording monthly recurring opportunities faster. Especially when we have several to enter each month.

workflow trigger opportunity
It would be very helpful to have a workflow automatically trigger an opportunity. For example, when we have a lead we start a workflow. Instead of having the first step in the workflow be to create an opportunity, it would be helpful if the opportunity would be automatically created and then we could go in and update the opportunity with additional details.

Create Tags or Fields or whatever they're called, to allow a secondary lead source.
We have quite a few prospects that may initially come into our funnel through a live event, like a seminar, but not become a client until, for example, 6 months later when they watch a webinar, or come to a client event. We would like to be able to track that marketing journey better with a secondary marketing source. In this example the primary lead source was the seminar, but the secondary would be the webinar.

Cloning recurring opportunities
It would be very helpful to have the option to clone & edit opportunities, particularly with recurring revenue. It's tedious having to re-enter everything from scratch for multiple clients, every 2-4 wks.

Amount in Opportunities
Instead of just posting an "Amount" in Opportunities, give the flexibility of different types of values (ex. Fee, Commission, AUM), like Wealthbox.

Add more opportunity filters to allow workflows to trigger off each opportunity type
It would be nice to be able to create specific opportunites off each product being sold and also be able to household them. If we had this ability we could tailor workflows to trigger off the opportunity and assign tasks to specific team members.

Bulk Actions - Add an Oppty to multiple contacts
The ability to add an Opportunity to multiple contacts at one time using the Bulk Actions feature would be very handy

1. Could there be modifications made to the Opportunity details
• Could stage and the probability field sync or communicate? – meaning by selecting an option from Stage it would then change the % amount in Probability.

Linking of Contacts, Accounts to Opportunities and Opportunity Notes
Opportunities can link contacts on the "big picture" side. We would like to see the ability to link an account to opportunities as well, either pending or existing accounts.
Additionally, we would really like to see all notes made in the opportunity automatically link to any linked contact or account. We currently have to do a double entry on the contact level, which makes it easy for someone to miss and potentially leave the note stuck in the opportunity. For the accounts, we have to make sure the contact linked, then go to the contact record, then link the account…

Sort Opportunities by Creation Date
Currently there is no way to sort opportunities based on the creation date only the target date. If added this feature would allow the user to determine when an opportunity was added and gauge how many other opportunities were added in a given time period rather than just seeing when they are estimated to be completed.

Add a recurring revenue field to opportunities.
Opportunities show "revenue". There should be a field for one time revenue and another for recurring revenue, like 12b-1 or advisory fees.
An extrapolation would be the 10 year value of the opportunity.
