need all fields available to select from for custom reporting
We need to option to select from ALL fields within a client record and their account records for custom exporting, and would love to have the option to run it in a nice PDF format.
The suggestion may be planned, but there is no timeline on this feature being added.

I would really like to design my own export templates (formatted, not just an excel sheet). Every other CRM I have ever seen has this ability to create a formatted export or report utilizing all fields available.

We could use Tag Groups & Keywords. Right now you can select individual Keywords but not the a box for all keywords.

I would like to be able to export the results from the Email by Contact report. That would be very helpful in my Stewardship reports I have to put together for our financial advisors.

We need to be able to search and export account UDFs used for individual accounts a contact has. You can search UDFs for contacts, but many of our contacts have multiple accounts that are treated differently for fees/risk tolerance/reporting/etc. We can use the UDFs to mark these differences, but there is no way to actually search the UDFs making them slightly useless.

Custom Export offers options for home & work email for a contact, but not "other" email. Please include "Other Email" as an option.
Also, Spouse does not have any email option included in custom export; nor does spouse have Age as an option - both would be nice to have.

It seems that if two contacts are linked the home address of the contact that has been linked to the other does not show up when a custom report is generated. For example, husband and wife, both contacts, both home addresses (which are the same) are indicated as primary address for each contact, one spouse is linked to the other. When a report is generated that would show both contacts, the contact's data that was linked to the other is blank for home address on the report.

Since no custom reporting is available, it is vital to be able to create reports via mail merge. Unfortunately, if the field in not available, even that is impossible. No two businesses are alike, therefore customization is very important. This item should be considered a Top Priority

Agreed, all fields should be available for export to mail merge fields, of course laser ap might not like it because we could create our own forms. Also, number fields should be stored as number fields not text. ie ss#, ph#. When exported to excel, have to be changed before they can be formatted for merging with a document.

Have you seen the beneficiary report? If you go to your accounts tab then double click on the account # you can add the beneficiaries. When you are all done with each account, go back to the accounts tab and over to the right is a pdf of a bene report. It looks pretty nice. It does not do a family report which is kind of a bummer, but at least you have a nice looking report to present to clients.

I'd like to use mail merge to add the beneficiaries into a letter to each client. This would be faster than going into each open account and pulling a beneficiary report.

We would like you to add the asset field to the custom export so we can get a report that shows us all assets NOT under our management -- in other words the opportunity!!

I had the same concerns. I've only used seminar management one time so far, and what I did was added Keywords to each of the groups, whether it was "confirmed", "declined" or "no-response". Then you can search for the keyword you want rather than filtering through a list of say 100 or so people. I agree there should be an easier way, so I'll give you 3 votes!
