adding multiple contacts to an activity
This is a duplicate of other requests but until you decide to pool similar requests......
When creating a new activity can we please have the ability to add multiple contacts without having to save the activity and then edit it to add the additional names? It's a waste of effort!
The suggestion may be planned, but there is no timeline on this feature being added.
This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

This seems like a simple fix and low-hanging fruit to solve a lot of people's issues. Please re-look at this.

I think this is an important feature as it pertains to automations and linking workflows to activities for with multiple linked contacts. You have to manually add linked contact to the automated workflows since they are triggered via the creation; very annoying.

I, too, would love to see this feature. Seems like a reasonable feature to add - and clearly wanted by users! Any update on this being implemented?

Wow, how hard is it to get this implemented? It already exists for notes so why can't this be done for activities? This thread is at least 4 years old by now!!

You can do what you all are asking, but you would have to do it from the search bar. (search last name, select contacts you want added, choose bulk action, add activity). I know this isn't as effective though.

I can't believe this was posted almost 3 years ago and it hasn't been fixed. This would be a huge time saver.

This would be SUCH a useful feature. I waste so much time having to open the activity to add multiple clients. Either just automatically take me to the full activity edit page or let me add multiple contacts like we can with Notes.

Second! We should be able to link as many contacts as we need to during the creation phase of the activity.
Otherwise, any automations that run due to an activity creation does not appropriately link to all desired contacts, only the first contact we link because we are limited to linking one contact during the initial activity creation.
Let's add the capability to add multiple contacts DURING the activity creation phase.

We'd like to be able to enter both the husband and the wife in the "Contact Name" field when creating a new activity. Or, perhaps be able to enter the Household name. Then it wouldn't be necessary to take the extra steps of clicking the create and edit button, and adding the spouse under "Linked Contacts". Plus, doing the 2 step linking of a couple gives the attendee 2 e-mails for the same meeting. The first one is for the original activity (the husband's name is listed) and the second one is for both names as the wife's name has now been added and a new e-mail is generated saying the activity has been updated. We don't want to turn off e-mail for updated activities b/c that is helpful when an activity time or date has been changed, but we don't need 2 e-mail for the same activity. Thanks!

New format for adding activities is an improvement but we still need to be able to add multiple contacts on the first screen. It is a waste of time to have to add the activity and then add the additional contacts.

When adding multiple contacts to an activity it would be helpful if we could click on the contacts at one time before saving - if we are adding a husband and wife you have to add the first contact then select add contact to get the next one added - can't we search and highlight multiple contacts at one time and add them with a single click?

It would be great if instead of linking activities to a contact, if we had to option to link it to a household and have it post on both clients instead of having to link it twice, once for each contact.
For example, if we have a Client Review Meeting with a husband and wife and when we schedule it, we could "Link to Household" instead of looking up and linking both contacts.

when typing contact names to assign an activity, it would be nice to be able to select a household or at least multiple clients.
