Automatic Email or Text Message Appointment Reminders to Clients
Could Redtail generate a reminder email (or even text message) to clients 24-48 hours prior to a scheduled appointment? The reminder would be generated by the calendar appointment and be sent to the email or phone number within the linked contact screen.

When I create an activity a notice goes out in that instant. I would like to know if there is a way to set up a reminder for a specific time-frame. In some cases I’d like to be reminded of a meeting the day before in order to prepare for it. Other times, I’d like to set up a reminder 1 hour prior if I need to make a call to a client.

I would change this question somewhat--I would ask for a way to customize the reminder. Some appts I'd like 60mins notice, others would be only 30mins, others would be a day in advance, etc...

Great idea. We usually duplicate our appointments in Outlook currently due to its reminder feature, which seems kind of silly.
