Entity as own family/household for client relationship count purposes
I want to get a number of how many households we have total but run into issues with entities. One issue that already has a suggestion is to be able to include entities in a household (so a trust can be grouped under the family that runs it). But I also want the ability to make the entity be its own household. This is so I can then run a search for all contacts that are clients and head of households so that the count of search results would then be equal to my total number of client relationships.
Redtail’s Product Owner has read the suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps.
This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

Yes! I just ran into this issue and it is so frustrating. It was suggested to me by the support team to just move the account number under the trustee/owner's name, but then you lose the independent information for the entity such as the date is was created, Tax ID, etc.
Entities already allow you to list an owner and beneficiaries. It would be nice if you could view the entity under the owner's name, since they already have their own contact and household.
