Kanban board
It would great if Redtail and a feature like a Kanban board. We are currently using Trello

Here's how I'd suggest going about implementing this:
Allow a custom report type: "KANBAN Report" or whatever it may be. Allow users to select categories they'd like to include on the report, just like building a report filter right now.
Eventually it would be great to be able to drag a box to the next column and it update the activity category as well, but even just displaying these and being able to click them to bring you to the activity would be fantastic.
Would be great to have a workflow option as well, but being that workflow step notes disappear into the Ether, I don't know many offices that use workflows without a tandem activity for Onboarding processes or Review processes.

Kanban boards for workflows would be great, too. It would provide a global view of any client or contact in a similar workflow. The different boards could be, what are right now, workflow templates essentially. Any updates on this since admin's comment in 2020?

We used Pipedrive previously and LOVED the Kanban board they had. Currently we have to filter and adjust columns to get a decently organized view of our opportunities, so to simplify we're using a separate system to have access to a Kanban board and it just feels like too much work.

Strongly agree. I use Trello personally and Asana professionally. Right now I crosslink Redtail/Kanban tasks. It would be spectacullarly advantagous to have kanban capability in the same work environment (and within RT environment is both secure and WORM compliant) that would ALSO be integrative with client record level tasks (as opposed to RT Workflows where Workflow tasks don't also become client level tasks - i.e. causing duplicative work, determining task in the context of a work flow and then, having to block the task to the calendar - prohibitively complicated).

Agree - we would love for Redtail to incorporate a Kanban board.

Agreed. We are not allowed to download Trello for compliance reasons but our teams could greatly benefit from an online whiteboard collaboration within Redtail.
