Expand Automation
While the automation function is a time saver, its functionality is far too limiting as we are not provided sufficient options. For instance (and this is just one example), we use (or have been trying to use) our categories to have a more refined view of client- and account-impacting notes. However, automation emails sent out via FMG (e.g., schedule a meeting, invitation to client events, newsletters, etc.) all get dumped into the same category. We'd like to be able to see, at a glance, notes that are key to client/account management, as well as who's being invited, who's being reminded, etc. With the current structure, that cannot be done in one sweep.
Again, this is just one simple example. It's my contention that triggering events, action type/item/value, condition items, and operands leave us with at least one hand tied behind our back.
