Automations: Make the Know your Client Review Date a Trigger Event
The Last/Next Review Date fields in the Know Your Client section is something our practice uses to help schedule the next review date for each client, rather than creating an activity for it, to help minimize the data footprint of each contact record (because there is enough "clutter" on record). If there were a way to make either of these fields, or both, a trigger event for an automation template(i.e. linking a Review Meeting workflow)...I believe it would enhance the Redtail experience.
The suggestion may be planned, but there is no timeline on this feature being added.
This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

This would be amazing! So efficient to have automation for the review process when it is due based on the review date.

Any Update on this??? ridiculous that it's been a request since 2015 and no update.

It's mind-boggling that this isn't already a feature.

WE DESPERATELY NEED THIS. IT WOULD BE SO EASY TO ADD CLIENT REVIEW TO TRIGGERS. It would make your software REMARKABLY BETTER.

This feature would be incredibly helpful, especially to the assistants (like myself!) that are the ones calling and scheduling these appointments. No one comes in for a review exactly 6 months or a year after their last appointment. If it's a trigger event, I could include in my action to give me a reminder in another 5 months to get them scheduled again based on the actual date they were in, not on the date that was entered previously.
Also, with this feature, I would hope that the automatic updating of that review date field would stop. If their review date is April 20th, and they can't come in until June 15th, my reminder is still going to be for October 20th, which is going to throw off the 6 month schedule. I think this field has a lot of potential, but isn't as functional as it could be.
I see that it's marked as under review since December 7, 2015 - does that mean it's still being looked at more than 3 years later? Can we get an update on this?

It would be awesome if the "First Review Date" would actually be the "Last Review Date" and you could populate that and have it advance the Next Review Date based on the frequency selected.

This would be an incredibly helpful enhancement and would help automate the client review process.

This would be awesome if it created a task for us to schedule the meeting. Now if only automations could create activities too...

This suggestion would be so helpful in saving enormous amount of time administering semi-annual reviews for clients. Highly suggested improvement.

I would like client review's to stay on calendar and be able to "completed" and converted to activities so you can add notes directly to the activity itself and have them appear in the client's note section.
On the top of a contact's page, it currently lists "next review". Last Review should also be noted here, as well as linked to a separate log of all reviews and corresponding notes. It is imperative to have access to these records. The reviews go away same day - they should not go away until status is changed to "completed". Reviews might happen after a week of rebalancing portfolios so NEED to see them always. I understand "client review" is to prompt/remind us to do the review, but we should have the ability to turn it into an activity, that way we have a record and ability to put in notes. Also, what if you don't get to the review, you can't roll it over....(lands on holiday, out on vacation, business came up need to push forward, etc). The solution is not to double our work and take the time to create both an activity AND a Client Review. This is redundant and inefficient. The Client Review Feature NEEDS TO BE UPDATED to COMBINE its current benefits (such as appearing on the Today/Homepage, under "Today's Reviews"), with the functionality of all other client/calendar activities. Also, "The 'Client Review' section should be more integrated with the calendar so they work together for a more comprehensive client review calendar. When a reoccurring Client Review notice pops up, it should have the ability to schedule the client meeting as an activity in the calendar and mark the review reminder as complete. The review reminder should be set up similar to a task, meaning that it does not go away until it is marked complete. Once the client meeting activity is complete, it should be updated in the Client Review section as "Last Review date".
With the current system to have a client review schedule requires that I put a reminder in Client Review, then create a separate reoccurring task to schedule the meeting, and then create another separate activity for the actual client meeting/contact. In essence I have 3 calendar items for one actual meeting. Not very efficient or calendar-friendly."

I second that we need to be able to put in notes for the client review and to also have an ability to "complete" the activity. I would prefer to update the Client Review feature instead of just telling me to have the client review AND create an activity, this is redundant and a waste of my time.

Create a workflow trigger that automatically create a workflow based on the Next Client Review Meeting. This will allow individuals to set their annual review meeting reminder and the program will kick start the workflow and take the thinking out of searching for who has not been seen in a while. This will improve systems as well as speed up the schedule review meeting process.

Client Review reminder section needs to be integrated with the calendar. When creating an activity, one of the "types" offered from the drop down should be "Review". Then the "Client Review" section should be able to pull up that information to schedule the next reminder based on the last Review that was actually scheduled/completed. Also, need to be able to set the repeat frequency in Client Review reminder for "semi-annually".

First review date should be re-named "Last Review Date" - also need to able to manually enter a date - makes no sense to pick a day or date based on an arbitrary one month, two month, etc (So I pick an actual date and it falls on a a Saturday or Sunday, what then?). I understand the need to create automation but it doesn't fit every client - give us the option to enter a date manually.

The NEXT REVIEW date on the top left of the client record would be a completable activity that would then schedule out another call/task based on the frequency selected.
For Example:
A client set to have quarterly reviews would show their next review date. Once this activity or call to schedule the review has been completed then the next review date would be set for three months later.

Great idea - how about having the client review reminder trigger an automation to start a specific workflow also.

At present there is no way to track a missed review because the system automatically projects the next review date. Would like to see the system auto-generate an activity/task on the calendar when a client's review date is reached. This way we could easily see any reviews that were missed because it would remain on our calendar until we flagged as completed. It also makes sense to allow for a change to the next review date as these missed reviews would then be scheduled from the actual date the review took place.

Can you please put a note section in when you click on a date in the calendar to schedule a review instead of submitting it and then having to go back in to add a note? I'd like the note section to pop up the first time I am scheduling. Thank you!

Would love to see the client review reminders moved to Open Activities and be an option as a way to start a workflow!
I think the moving the client review reminders to open activities and forcing those to be completed would be a great way to make our team more efficient in scheduling reviews.
