Navigation on Reports
For reports generated that are multiple pages, a navigation bar is produced at the bottom of each "page" of data. Can this navigation bar be both at the top and the bottom of these reports to eliminate the need to scroll top the bottom before advancing to the next page. If the list is alphabetical, you can quickly move through the pages to the page you need to view.

The Microsoft software used is out of date. The reports show up in Microsoft 2003 format, which has caused some issues with generating the mailing labels to print out on the sticker templates. I think the software for the reports needs to be updated.

Contacts not Permissioned, Filter by Type of Contact
When running the Contact NOT permissioned report, we should have the ability to identify each contact by the type of contact they are (individual, business, trust etc..). I know in our firm, we usually do not permission companies unless the company themselves are our clients. Because of that, our report for this feature has 100's of business names mixed with individuals and we would love to filter between the two

Tracking Training Webinars
It would be great to to be able to track what users watch webinars. We want our staff to better utilize the training that RedTail offers and create mandatory webinars to watch by certain dates. However, right now its more of an honor code if they complete the training since there is no way to track it

add filters to contact by state report; active verses inactive etc.
add various filters to the contact by state report; had to manually edit it. would be nice to have options to filter.

Account Owner Report
Why is there no report that shows who is listed in the accounts screen as owner(s) of an account. We can get a report showing the contact the account is tied to but that is not helpful if we would like to see who the joint owners are on an account or if we have missed noting them as an owner. What is the point of being able to note account owners on the account screen if we can't run a report on them?

Search account type (etc.) when filtering in reporting
The account type list is extremely long, so it would be nice to search in the filters in addition to scrolling through a list to check the types you want to filter by.

Modify the Last Activity report filter
We should be able to select the type of activity you want to filter out when using the Last Activity export feature. Currently, it just pulls the last activity, whether it is a meeting, phone call or task. I would like to be able to further specify the type. Last phone call made to a client etc.

Notes report by contact
When running a notes report by contact, the notes displayed are in date order. When selecting the PDF option, it does not keep the order displayed. The PDF option should convert to PDF what is displayed similar to what a print to PDF would do.

Add opportunity value to prospect reports
My boss needs to be able to see prospective client info and the opportunity value they might bring to the firm, as well as opportunity value for those clients who have termed, and the opportunity value of clients who are involved in a workflow according to the owner of the workflow for business plan purposes during meetings. It would be great to be able to do this!! Its great that I can pull up a list of all prospective clients, but being able to print a report that shows this client list along with the opportunity value totaled at the…

Aggregate Morningstar Reporting through Redtail
Would like the ability to print a Morningtar Report (Snapshot or X-Ray) on an aggregate level, by selecting ALL household accounts. Right now it is only on an individual level.

duplicate contact report
The duplicate report should have additional header choices such as social security number and Date of birth that way you don't need to go individually into those records to figure out if they are duplicates. Also once you combine contacts, they should not stay highlighted. The page should automatically refresh. It is a waste of time to manually refresh or to manually unclick each highlighted record you just combined.

Report of No Future Activity Filtered with Tags
I would like to have a feature where I can run a report for no future activity by advisor and then filter that with tags or keywords. It would allow me to fun a report by advisor and then further break it down into types of client (fee based, managed, etc).

Quicklist Auto Update
It does not appear that Quicklists automatically update as new contact groups are entered or when existing contact groups are modified.
This would definitely be a time saving feature.
Please let me know if this is in the works.

Personal Profile Form & User Defined Fields
Please update form to be able to select multiple User Defined Fields to add to a client's report. It makes sense to allow more customization within this report so that we are able to print a presentable report to the financial advisor for review in client meetings. For different clients, we may require different information so please allow us to customize this report. The only other option for a report that incorporates all the necessary detail is to print it in a messy excel spreadsheet. Not acceptable in a client meeting. Thank you.

Remove account balances on beneficiary report
Give the option to remove account balances on the beneficiary reports. This could be to be able to check and uncheck them in the Custom Reports or just removed them completely from the Beneficiary Reports. Account balances have very little to do with what beneficiaries a client chooses.

large report export
Time and resources need to be spent on upgrading the capability of your reporting functions. It is little use to me to be able to pull a report (activities by contact for example) that is 1000 lines long and then not be able to export it.
Contacts to support are met with "make the report smaller" this is tedious, hit or miss and extremely time consuming and frustrating.
It is amazing to me that such a powerful CRM cannot handle the simple export of data larger than about 180kb

report grouping by family
When I export a report showing activities by contact it lists the contact(s). It would be nice to have a field to allow me to sort by "family" and not have the wife's activities cluster together, the husband's activities cluster together, the activities with both of them cluster together.

Create a client report that will allow you to filter/export the client name and email addresses in an Excel document.
Simply have a report that allows one to Export an Excel Document with the Client Name and Email Address and/or contact details. i.e. phone address.
