  1. Salutations

    On the salutations area of adding a new contact, there is an option for Sergeant but no other rank. It means alot to military and first responders to be recognized for their rank.

    Add capability on imports to not create duplicate entry if there is already a matching name and email address, just skip that entry. Other CRMs have this capability and then generate a report of the ones skipped. Can make it optional in case someone wants dups

    Give us a link we can send a new contact to input their OWN data into RT. Right now, we send aform to them to fill out contact info - they manually type it out and send it back to us. Then we manually input it into RT. Why not just do the inputs once and have them populate their own profile. It's 2023, this should be easy to do.

  4. Employer Field - Add dropdown feature to list Employers the user can select from

    Our office has dozens of group retirement plans. When adding a new employee contact record, we want our office associates to select from a list of employers. Currently the Employer Field is open to any text allowing office associates to enter employer any which way. For example. IBM may be listed as IBM or International Business Machines or Intl Bus Machines. Because we use the employer field in creating quick lists, it is not useful if the employer field is not entered consistently. This is why I suggest a dropdown.   8. RMD Information/Log

    Please create a RMD information tab in the left side panel similar to the UDF, Notes and activates fields. We need a section where we can track all RMDs per year and if they were satisfied. RMD accounts can be satisfied in one account of across multi accounts so we need the ability to customize data and take notes and track if the RMD is completed for the year.   11. Edit all data on contact card by only pushing edit once

    Instead of having to edit each different contact number, address or email separately, have the edit button open the whole box and be able to edit everything easier.

  12. Contact Record

    Contact Record - when adding an employer, a new contact record is automatically created for the employer/company. The status is listed as non-specified. Would like to see RT automatically list the company as BUSINESS or EMPLOYER. I am cleaning up our database and I have tons of NON SPECIFIED records. If I delete the record, IT DELETES IT FROM THE CLIENT'S CONTACT RECORD. Not good... Also, if i change the status of the client to prior client or if I delete a client, the contact record for the employer still remains. It should transfer along with the client contact record.…

  13. add field for client pets and their names

    Please add a field for client Pets with their names! We are a dog-friendly firm with a lot of pet-friendly clients and we use the best dog-friendly CRM around... So, we would love to be able to add client's pet type and name to a field so we can reference their pets by name quickly when chatting with clients in the future. :)

  14. Time Stamps on UDFs

    It would be helpful if we had a time stamp for the last time a UDF was updated next to the UDF. It would not be part of the Excel sheet data if we were to pull a report using a Custom Export with the UDF on it. It would just be to tell the last time that field was updated for the database users.

  15. Change "Servicing Advisor" and "Writing Advisor" fields under contact details.

    Please make the "Servicing Advisor" and "Writing Advisor" fields in the contact details more generic and add additional fields. For example:
    "Advisor 1"
    "Advisor 2"
    "Advisor 3"
    A third option would be great, the ability to rename these fields would be even better.

  16. Duplicate A Contact

    It would be helpful to create a contact (especially business contacts which have many of the same contact fields) then be able to duplicate that contact and then change just the name and email address or whatever. Almost like a Save As function, this would save a lot of time and reduce errors of having to retype the same information over and over for multiple similar contacts.

  17. Align Household Marital Status in Contact Details with the Household

    Instead of having the household ALWAYS showing a couple as married allow that field to match the marital status in contact details. There are many reasons why we have someone householded together and they may not be married. This causes confusion for staff and can lead to uncomfortable conversations when we misrepresent how two people are connected.

    If multiple banks are listed in the client record, allow us to toggle for a choice of accounts when using LaserApp. It's the same premise as how we are able to choose family members.

    We have many clients with multiple banks listed and as toggle isn't an option, we have to manually enter the information for the second bank. This opens the door for errors.

    Add customizable dashboard. We need to create layouts/forms with user-defined fields organized differently for administrative staff and advisors. Our former ACT! CRM provided this ability. The Redtail dashboard tends to "scratch where it doesn't itch" for our needs.

  20. being notified when entering a contact that is a duplicate

    I receive about 10 leads a month from a marketing lead source. As soon as I receive a lead, I immediately enter into RT by first name, last name, email address and phone #.

    There have been many times that I would receive a duplicate lead (without knowing or remembering) from the past. I wish that RT would inform me when a duplicate contact is being entered, specifically by email and/or phone #. I understand RT only informs of duplicate by EXACT first name, last name and tax id. Please considering updating and allowing at least email to be included…
