  1. Add nicknames to the search contact feature

    To the "Search Contacts" search bar, add in clients "nickname" to the search feature. If the client goes by something other than their first name, that name needs to be featured in the search contacts function.

  2. Create a spot on the client contact screen to blotter checks received.

    It would be handy for compliance purposes and commission reconciliation to have a report of checks received per month/per advisor.

  3. The ability to attach a picture of the Driver's License to the ID area

    Click on the DL or ID number and it bring up a photo or copy of the ID

  5. Employer Field - Add dropdown feature to list Employers the user can select from

    Our office has dozens of group retirement plans. When adding a new employee contact record, we want our office associates to select from a list of employers. Currently the Employer Field is open to any text allowing office associates to enter employer any which way. For example. IBM may be listed as IBM or International Business Machines or Intl Bus Machines. Because we use the employer field in creating quick lists, it is not useful if the employer field is not entered consistently. This is why I suggest a dropdown.   6. to be able to search by a nick name or a street address or even a email address

    If we could search by contact nickname, address or email address for marketing it would really save a lot of time searching information that might need to be updated.

  7. being notified when entering a contact that is a duplicate

    I receive about 10 leads a month from a marketing lead source. As soon as I receive a lead, I immediately enter into RT by first name, last name, email address and phone #.

    There have been many times that I would receive a duplicate lead (without knowing or remembering) from the past. I wish that RT would inform me when a duplicate contact is being entered, specifically by email and/or phone #. I understand RT only informs of duplicate by EXACT first name, last name and tax id.   8. Contact Record

    Contact Record - when adding an employer, a new contact record is automatically created for the employer/company. The status is listed as non-specified. Would like to see RT automatically list the company as BUSINESS or EMPLOYER. I am cleaning up our database and I have tons of NON SPECIFIED records. If I delete the record, IT DELETES IT FROM THE CLIENT'S CONTACT RECORD. Not good... Also, if i change the status of the client to prior client or if I delete a client, the contact record for the employer still remains. It should transfer along with the client contact record.…

  9. Customize the Contacts' Sidebar

    When viewing a contact/client profile, we use some of the sidebar links frequently and some not at all. I would love to change my Contact Record preference settings so that the categories I use all the time (Accounts, Workflows, Documents, Notes, Activities, Permissions/Roles) are at the top of the list.

  10. Multiple options for UDFs

    We need an option when creating a UDF for a drop down where we can select multiple items for the field. IE: Field name plus list or checkbox of items

    either add ability to type it after the value-currently only able to enter numbers or have an as of button.

  13. Add Federal and State Tax withholding fields

    We are requesting an additional feature be added to the existing "Estimated Tax Information" section on each contact record in the "Financials" section:

    Please add two additional rows:
    Federal Tax Withholding %
    State Tax Withholding % (with a state dropdown menu to choose)

  15. Head of Household indicated in contact main profile

    Would like see to within a contact record if they are the head of household without having to go into the family name to see if the individual is the head of household. Maybe add the house icon beside the contacts name in their main record?

  16. Primary Contact - Add link to that person's record

    Within the Primary Contact box, include a link to access that person's record within Redtail. For any additional information on that person now, you have to go under "Memberships" to find their record or search for their record. If the link is provided, you just click the link and it takes you directly to their record.

  17. The ability to remove the PERSONAL PRONOUNS field in the Personal Profile form.

  19. Time Stamps on UDFs

    It would be helpful if we had a time stamp for the last time a UDF was updated next to the UDF. It would not be part of the Excel sheet data if we were to pull a report using a Custom Export with the UDF on it. It would just be to tell the last time that field was updated for the database users.
