Add Federal and State Tax withholding fields
We are requesting an additional feature be added to the existing "Estimated Tax Information" section on each contact record in the "Financials" section:
Please add two additional rows:

Email History text is unreadable in new Dark Mode -- the text is still black, so not working with new black background.

Make shared contact card information more apparent
It would be great if shared contact card information would display as shared in some easily viewable manner instead of only saying it is shared when you click on the arrow next to the field and choose edit.

Redtail Mobile App 3.0+ View Household Members
When going to visit clients we like to ask how the family is doing. While on the road we like to review the clients info so that we better know our client when we walk in the door. Names are important for us so If we can view household members and link them to a contact record that would finally allow us to move from Outlook notes to being fully covered with just the RedTail mobile app. I know there are similar ideas out there but with the new mobile app update I wanted to iterate how knowing our client…

Add customizable dashboard. We need to create layouts/forms with user-defined fields like ACT! CRM allows.
Add customizable dashboard. We need to create layouts/forms with user-defined fields organized differently for administrative staff and advisors. Our former ACT! CRM provided this ability. The Redtail dashboard tends to "scratch where it doesn't itch" for our needs.

Add an option for a checklist in udf fields
Rather than having a dropdown or blank field etc, we'd like to have a checklist with 12 different line items and then for each contact have the ability to check off or even add notes to the line items

a link to a map feature next to the physical address of the client.

Bank fields to add: TYPE of acc (eg Check, savings) and ACCOUNT OWNER (eg the husband or wife )
When exporting the bank info to eg Laser app, one has to research if the bank is check or savings. This could be recorded when the bank info is input. Also should know who the signors of the account are - this helps with work flows like Docusign and others

browser tabs
I like to open multiple browser tabs (firefox) in Redtail for clients/contacts I want to work on. Each tab currently says "redtail" and often I will have to click each one to show what contact it represents. It would be super helpful if these tabs showed the contacts last name instead of redtail.

Edit all data on contact card by only pushing edit once
Instead of having to edit each different contact number, address or email separately, have the edit button open the whole box and be able to edit everything easier.

Link Beneficiary to Contact Record
It would be awesome if beneficiaries could link to existing contact records, as well as giving an option to create a contact record (similar to updating Ownership in Accounts). This would help us have a more comprehensive and cohesive CRM!

Client Ribbon Color Change
When a client passes away, allow users to change color to contact on the ribbon so it is not just red.
Also allow us to have different colors for contacts when having mulitple advisors on one system.8 votes -
banking
If multiple banks are listed in the client record, allow us to toggle for a choice of accounts when using LaserApp. It's the same premise as how we are able to choose family members.
We have many clients with multiple banks listed and as toggle isn't an option, we have to manually enter the information for the second bank. This opens the door for errors.

add field for client pets and their names
Please add a field for client Pets with their names! We are a dog-friendly firm with a lot of pet-friendly clients and we use the best dog-friendly CRM around... So, we would love to be able to add client's pet type and name to a field so we can reference their pets by name quickly when chatting with clients in the future. :)

Please add a "next" function that would allow us to page back and forth between client contact pages in alphabetical order.

Need a fiancé option
I need an option for my clients who are engaged. They are someone's fiancé. I wish I had the option to say that instead of "life partner".

Business Clients - additional info needed.
Business Clients need to have a field to list the "Owners".
We have many that offer Simple IRA's that we use Keywords to pull reports, but it would be great to have a field on the contact card that allows this information at a glance.

Duplicate Contact Report - Middle Initials
As a Redtail CRM User, I want the Duplicate Contact Name Report to acknowledge middle initials, so that the contact can be identified as an individual record rather than a duplicate.
Goal: The problem is a bloated Duplicate Contact Report List that is inaccurate because it can not differentiate contacts.
Benefit: This will provide clearer communication to customers and prevent communicate to the wrong individual.
Acceptance criteria: When the first and last name are the same, the middle initial is different which clears the names from the duplicate contact report.7 votes
