sidebar for workflows
Please add a sidebar for Workflows that would open when in a Task. Allow users to move from Workflow sidebar to Task w/o interruption or saving first.

automation opportunity - Change stage updates contact status
Using the Opportunities section is tedious. To help reduce all the manual inputs, when an Opportunity Stage is changed to Closed-LOST, have the system update the contacts Status to the appropriate category. It would also be helpful to have lost inactive. It would be great if, stage changed to WON, trigger automation to update contact status to client.

automated task creation
We would like to have an automation based on a step in the workflow being completed. This would be incredibly valuable in our onboarding process without having to track progress in multiple programs.

eMoney Integration for Trust or Business accounts
Our firm would like to suggest that Redtail consider an upgrade so that eMoney for non-personal/Business and Trust accounts are able to be part of the integration process.

REMOVE chat bubble or make it MOVEABLE
Please remove the chat bubble or place it on the left hand side with the menu. It currently blocks your view of activity details such as time entered regardless of window size you are viewing it. It interrupts many of our daily activities and we either want the ability to move it, have you remove it, or place it on the left hand side out of the way of viewing the CRM system.

Add Automation Trigger for "Created by User"
There are several Automation Trigger requests, most, if not all of them are great ideas. Please also add an Automation Trigger for when an Object or Record is "Created by User".

Expand automation
We need the ability to automate updates to opportunity stages, creation of activities, and changes to contacts based on workflow tasks marked complete.
We also need the ability to automate creation of activities and contacts based on changes to opportunities, such as the stage.

Expand Automation
While the automation function is a time saver, its functionality is far too limiting as we are not provided sufficient options. For instance (and this is just one example), we use (or have been trying to use) our categories to have a more refined view of client- and account-impacting notes. However, automation emails sent out via FMG (e.g., schedule a meeting, invitation to client events, newsletters, etc.) all get dumped into the same category. We'd like to be able to see, at a glance, notes that are key to client/account management, as well as who's being invited, who's being reminded,…

Add CSA as a field option for automations
CSA is not an available option for assigning in an automation.

set a Contact Permission when a Contact Status is changed (for example, to client from prospect)
Right now, you can have an automatic contact permission, but only when the contact is created. If you create prospects, and then convert them to clients, there is no way to have a permission created automatically.
Since many of us create "prospects" prior to them becoming "clients", it would be very helpful to have permissions changed when we add certain information such as Social Security number, etc, which we don't have when they are prospects.

Need more operand options when setting up automations
When setting up permissions I used advanced search and applied backoffice permissions to everyone where the writing or servicing advisor wasn't blank. I want to do an automation with the same thing but that operand function isn't available and I'll need to put in so many criteria to do the same thing and when we add new advisors I'll need to set them up as well.

Zapier Integration Update
It would be very useful to have one of the trigger events between Zapier and Redtail was "Note Added".

Automating Review Reminder Emails
Introduce the ability to automate email templates based on scheduled events. Mail merge would pulls scheduled date for meeting and send an automated email that we would set up. Or go through the calendar and add a confirmation email to automatically send a few days before. Advisor can edit template email in email templates.

Allow tag groups to be edited via automations.
Pretty straight forward, give us the ability to add/remove tag groups via automations. This would allow us to more effectively managed the integrations we have with RT.
Preferably we would have to edit most of the fields found in the advanced search

Add Contact to Tag Group Automation
It would be very helpful to have an automation where when a Contact is imported, added or created it automatically adds them to a Tag Group.

It would be super helpful if an automation that was triggered by an activity on a specific user could also automatically send out an email from your email templates. I have an automation that triggers workflows when a specific activity is used which is extremely helpful but having an automation be able to send out an email that is also trigger by the same activity would be more beneficial.
Not sure if that would mean creating another automation to the same activity with a different condition or allowing an automation with multiple conditions would work out best.

Automate Client Appointment Emails
Allow for broadcast emails to be sent to clients on a scheduled basis!!
Seems like all that needs to be done is to:
-Update the Automations Template by adding "Next Activity" in a client's CRM profile as a "Trigger Event"
-Allow for a broadcast email template to be tied to the triggering event.Advisors would be able to update the "next review" in a client's profile to whatever schedule they want, and broadcast emails saying "it's time for your appointment" can automatically be sent out!!
