Phone Icon
When scheduling a conference call with a client, it would be nice to be able to see a small icon phone receiver next to the scheduled appointment so we can differentiate between a conference call and an in-house meeting with the client. Thanks.

filter activity by category
Please add a function to Filter Activities by Category on the activities dashboard. Currently, we can only filter from Calendar view.

Make it a site preference that activities and workflows have to link to a contact
It's way too easy to create an activity or a workflow that is not linked to a contact. The contact link really should be required, but at the very least you should be able to set your preferences so that either it makes it required for you, or it gives you a warning if you've left it blank. It's incredibly frustrating to realize (assuming you do) that you haven't linked the contact to a workflow or activity, and have to somehow track it down to add it. And then it's even more frustrating as a manager to run a report…

Extend Future activities view to 12 months for a client
Having the activities button say Past due and next 12 months would be wonderful. It would be very helpful to see what the future activities scheduled for a particular client are with the click of a button. The button there works fine, but it's not long enough. If I have something scheduled 6 months out and I wanna know what that is....or even know that it exists frankly, it's hard to get too.

Add account number field when creating an activity
We always have to click "create & edit" to add account numbers to a task. It would make it a lot quicker if we could just have an account number drop down field in creating a task so we can just click "create activity".

Detailed Activity Template
For Activity Templates we should be able to select from the "advanced" or "detailed" options. For example, with a specific type of activity template I may want to notify a person or specific team without adding them as an attendee. I don't see any way to do this right now so our activity templates just "add" everyone who should really only be notified.

Send a notification if another user is already in an activity
If someone is in a activity and you go to open it, instead of allowing two people in the task and having one of the persons notes not being saved it would be helpful to receive a notification stating that the activity is in use by someone else and to check back later.

Things to do Today - More Features in Dashboard
I contacted support today because I was trying all of my team to see in Today's Dashboard all the activities for the day. The thing is, the only way they are able to see it is if I put them as attendees, in some cases they are, but in most cases I'm the one with the task; and I just want them to see it in their main page. Right now we are forced to go to the Activities Tab, and then filter accordingly. Can we just have the ability in Today's Dashboard, that if set a particular task to…

be able to set display preferences to show the date of an activity, not the day of the week for activities that are within the next 7 days
On the dashboard, when I click on the 'activities' tab, and set it for open activities - past due and xx time into the future, i don't want to see "Thursday" "Friday", etc on activities that are in the next 7 days. I want to see the exact date, even if it's tomorrow. Can this be a preference that I can set for my dashboard display?

Add/Remove Activity Attendees in Bulk
Currently, users can only Reassign attendees, which has the effect of removing ALL current attendees.
Users need a way to add/remove particular attendees from activities in Bulk, similar to how Permissions works.
This will help with users who are being disabled, and their activities to be a reassigned to another person, without replacing any other attendees on those said activities.

Add custom export for appointment times
If we could access either a mail merge field or a custom export for upcoming appointment times, that would be great for setting up and notifying clients of upcoming appointments.

List Company Name on Dashboard when dual contact
When 2 or more contacts are tired to an activity, all you see is "two contact" It wold be helpful to have the primary company shown, so we n=know what company its for. and then just append (2 other contacts)

Force or remind to input linked contact
Too many times people make appointments from the calendar and do not put in a linked contact and the automation workflows don't trigger correctly; they have a blank linked contact. Can you add a message prompt to force or just remind to add a linked contact in the initial input window? I already know it's best practice to go to the contact first...but the reminder to link a contact if blank would change my life. :-)

Client tasks/Activities
We have run into a problem of trying to keep track of what exactly is pending from the client. For example, client says they will provide us with a copy of he/her 401k statement. After following-up a few times, it is left in the client's hands to get that to us without leaving an activity on someone's list. But when we meet with the client again, it is tedious to recall what all was outstanding with the client. Especially if it is several pieces the client has just randomly provided. We schedule a lot of client meetings on our calendar and there are 4 reps working on this calendar. I am the one to go in and "complete" out the activity for all appointments. Seems to me there should be a quick link button right there on the calendar to complete it. Each time I have to click on the appt, then go in and scroll down to save and complete. Then it reloads the whole calendar again... thus losing my place. It would be very handy to have this option. On the contact side, there is a drop down…

Currently, The client name is listed at the BOTTOM of notes and activities in the history. I would prefer that it be listed at the TOP in this section:

Categorize activity to-do list
Be able to categorize the activities on the main "Things to do today" page. By being able to keep certain categories of tasks together on the activities page, will make it easier to find tasks when looking through 20+ tasks. Can do this by creating folders or subcategories within the activities.
