  1. Email distinction for Internal vs. External

    RT captures all email history for anyone with an email listed on the database. However, it has become an issue internally because email rights allow viewing private internal (HR) discussions. This has caused management to remove all employee emails from the RT database, so we can no longer research email history unless it is just between you and the client. This adds to going back in forth with other teammates to confirm if they spoke to a client or followed up on a particular issue.   2. Email collaboration

    So much of client service is centered around email these days it would be great for teams to be able to collaborate without forwarding a message to a colleague to ask a question, or shooting an FYI to your entire team. The ability to discuss and share emails with a team would be an great additional feature

  4. Increase attachment size

    Increase size of file allowed in email attachment - currently says nothing bigger than 5MB is allowed. Our PRs are larger than that size with all the graphics.

  5. Turn off the Email tab on Today view

    The email privacy issue is really significant. I'm requesting programers turn off the Email tab on Today view for all but me. Yes I realize that I can make all users Non-email Admins, but that completely defeats the purpose of paying to archive email on client history when the point is to share correspondence on client records across the whole team.

    We have removed ALL team member email addresses (including mine) from Redtail to avoid archiving private emails on their records. But the Email Tab on Today view will still contain messages that are not intended for everyone.

  6. A ticket response, by mail, needs to give detail on what the ticket was about.

    It says "here is a reminder", but there is NO reminder. Some time I make several calls a day to redtail and it can be difficult to remember the details.

  7. archive email

    When we archive an client's email because they don't want to receive bulk email from us maybe the archive email word can change from blue to red to signal an email is archived.

  8. Share emails within a team

    It would be nice if all members on a specific team had access to all emails inside a contact from any team member, not just their own emails. Only being able to see your own emails makes it harder for teams to work together and to see all communications to and from a contact.

  9. Email history tooltip/info note that informs users email history can be delayed up to 24 hours

    an Email history tooltip/info note , in the email history tab, that informs users email history can be delayed up to 24 hours. This way, people are not confused as to why their email history is not showing up

  10. Is there a way to only see recent client contact e-mails within Redtail?

    Currently I am unable to filter e-mails to and from my contact clients in Redtail. When I go to Redtail, scroll to reports then filter, all e-mails within last 30 days for example, I generate a list of all my e-mails from vendors, advertisement etc. Would like a way to filter only e-mails from my clients that have an e-mail address listed in contacts.

  11. Insert Field in email subject line

    Adding the clients name in the subject line can boost open rates by as much as 50%. If the ##FirstName## is available in the Body of an email then can't it also be available for the subject line?

  12. link phone numbers from email to CRM

    add a feature to link phone numbers from email to CRM. Our email is linked up to our phone so when someone calls in and leaves a message we are able to retrieve this from email. it would be nice to have the phone number linked to CRM just like email addresses.

  13. Add an email template fill-in for servicing advisor

    We would like to see a template fill-in for servicing advisor, like there is for first name ##Firstname##. This would be helpful for confirmation email templates or for sending recommendations by email.

  15. Preview function for email templates

    We would like to be able to see the content of the email exactly as the client would see it before sending an email when using email templates. Normally when sending clients, we double and triple check how the email reads, but that's harder when using email templates because we can't see the final version until it gets archived in Redtail email later.

    Current email feature within Redtail does not allow files to be attached from two different locations (folders). Doing so will overwrite the first attachment with the new one. It seems like a defect since this would be unexpected behavior and no message is provided to the user that the prior attachment(s) have been removed by attaching subsequent files.

    I request that this feature be added or this defect be fixed to allow adding attachments from more than one folder without deleting the previously attached files.

  17. Create an email aggregation box on the dashboard / home page that would only have emails from contacts that exist in Redtail

    Being able to have a heads up that focused on the most important emails that need to be addressed daily minus the junk mail and other clutter

  18. Configuration for Sent Emails to Auto-Save to Notes

    Can we please get a way to manage e-mail settings to have all of our emails sent through Redtail automatically save a copy to the notes that way we do not always have to manually check the save to notes box at the bottom of the email screen? This creates too much room for error in the potential of forgetting to check that box and email history is important.

  19. Email Tracking

    All emails sent through Redtail should be able to be tracked for legal requirements. For now, only broadcast emails appear to get tracked.

  20. Can we get a more robust Text Editor for email templates so we can match format for emails sent from Outlook>

    Need more font choices that are easier to choose as well as bold and ability to add text color
