  1. Have Opportunity Revenue Categorized for Calendar Year

    Currently closed revenue is cumulative and doesn't show current year. We would like to be categorize for current year revenue.

  2. Add a recurring revenue field to opportunities.

    Opportunities show "revenue". There should be a field for one time revenue and another for recurring revenue, like 12b-1 or advisory fees.

    An extrapolation would be the 10 year value of the opportunity.

  3. Separate column for Opportunities Client vs Other Contacts

    In the Opportunities Layout have the contacts have the client in underwriting separate from other contacts such as underwriters, attorney, etc. Because even when I hover over the contacts link, I have to click on it. It doesn't show who the opportunity is for.

    On another note... Have the option to create your own drop down of what the status is in the opportunity. "won or Lost' is not enough and really only applies to the final status.

    Documents is not linked to client, so I have to reupload it again under client file.

    Cannot link Pending Account to Opportunity…

  4. Automation link/ create Opportunity

    Please add automation so that when a prospect is created an opportunity can automatically be created linked to that contact.

  5. Commission Split Tracking

    Inside of the opportunities sections, I would like to see a way to breakdown any revenue splits for life insurance and annuity sales. That way if the business is referred to us and we are leaving the referring agent on the case, we can track who earned what inside of the CRM software.

  6. Opportunity Permissions for Non-Admins

    For non-admins, remove the ability to assign a permission at the creation of an opportunity. We've had users permission themselves at creation and because they're not an admin, they don't have the ability to adjust or see any permission on that particular opportunity. At the creation of opportunity a permission ability for non-admins creates a situation, if they only select themselves, where it can't be adjusted or seen by other users.

  7. Add ARCHIVE feature to OPPORTUNITIES database list

    Addition of ARCHIVE feature to OPPORTUNITIES database for those opportunities that do not materialize into a transaction, but whose information you do not want to lose as would happen if current delete option is used.

  8. mitel

    Numerous people have recommended/suggested/asked that RedTail have an interface with Mitel Connect so that we can dial directly out of Redtail with a click of the phone number - is this on Redtail's radar?

  9. Show Filter information for Opportunities

    Would be helpful for the Filter Date range to show on the opportunities section. It's confusing when I click "all" and the date filter (that is hidden) filters out opportunities not within the date range.

  10. Interactive Brokers

    Good morning,

    I currently custody with Interactive Brokers. They are one of the largest custodians with more assets under management than any other custodian.

    I would love it if RedTail would integrate with Interactive Brokers LLC and Betterment for Advisors

  11. Sort Opportunities

    It would be nice to sort opportunities by projected revenue instead of $ amount. If I add an opportunity to charge for a plan, there is no way to sort this because there is no securities involved.

  12. Allow "Pushing" Contact From Opportunity into Contacts upon Closed Won

    When we close an opportunity, please allow us to push the Name in the opportunity into Contacts if the opportunity is Closed Won. We shouldn't have to create a new contact when we have a contact name in an Opportunity. If that opportunity is won, there should be an option to create a new contact from the name associated with the opportunity.

  13. birthday card integration

    I used to work in another field with a different CRM. However, that CRM integrated with a company called Revenue Well. Revenue well was able to AUTOMATICALLY send email and text reminders for every appointment on the calendar and it also sent Birthday and anniversary cards with a Giph via email and text automatically on the date.
    This way appointments were never missed and could be confirmed via text. Birthdays and anniversaries were never missed either so clients felt cared for. Most of all, this was automatic and did not take time from our staff members daily. Do you have…

  14. Being able to filter opportunities by opportunity name

    We categorize our opportunities by very specific names depending on subject. It would be great if we could filter by Opportunity Name and not just by who it is assigned too and the category.

  15. Have the ability for a box to pop up with a reminder to enter data

    For example, if the prospect was not a good fit, and the advisor referred them to another firm, when the cursor moves to finish entering the details in the opportunity section, have a box pop up that says, "did you refer this prospect to another firm? if so, enter their name here. " then you can have the udf field where the advisor can enter the name. You can have a reminder pop up anywhere including contacts. Like how an upsell works. Thank you.

  16. Opportunity Notifications

    We are hoping Opportunities may be set up similar to the Activity and Workflow features in regards to notifications. We have multiple Users and multiple Teams in our database. We would like a large Team to have Permission to view the Opportunity but have the capability to turn off notifications on actions/updates done to Opportunities.

    Please add projected revenue totals at the end of an opportunity report pdf. Even better if you can separate the totals by source.

  18. Link opportunities to the calendar. Particularly link close dates.

    When creating an opportunity, link the close date for the particular opportunity to your calendar. It prevents adding another step and makes using the Opportunity function seamless.

  19. Every Opportunity Entered for One Client when click "All"

    When looking at Client Profile, Click Opportunities, Click All... Right now it only shows Year To Date entered opportunities, when for looking at what opportunities I have entered for a client, or quick reference for when a certain piece of business was won, it would be nice to click "All" and it shows "All" not just current year

  20. opportunities

    Have a default setting so you can see ALL of your opportunities when you click on the tab instead of having to toggle through 30 days, 60 days, etc.
