  1. Link Account to Multiple Contacts

    I would like to be able to link accounts to multiple contacts. Joint accounts, also trust accounts where the trustees may or may not be a part of the same household. It would also be nice for the purpose of linking a power of attorney to an account.

    Redtail has read this suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps. This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

  2. Please add "Non-Qualified" and "Non-Qualified Joint" to the drop down menu, for when tax qual. box is NOT checked.

    The drop down menu is active even when the "tax qualified" box is not checked. It therefore should include options for "Non-Qualified" and "Non-Qualified Joint." We should not have the sole options of using "other," or simply leaving this field blank.

  3. Field for date of spouse's death

    We often have clients whose spouse is not a client. It would be nice if we could record the date of the spouse's death in the client's record (rather than making the spouse their own record) and have the option for a reminder on the anniversary (like birthdays and marriage anniversaries).

  4. Contact Details - Add Retired/Retiring As Of Option

    In financial industry advise offered to clients may differ based on whether they are retired, on the verge of retiring or have many years left to work.

    It would be helpful/useful to money managers / planners to Add Retired/Retiring As Of Option with a drop down to select a date so this information can be entered when the client is created. This would greatly increase the functionality of searching contacts without having to manually assign this options as a keyword or tag group as it may be overlooked.

  5. Custom Account Types

    When updating Account Types in the User Preferences section, we are able to add new account types such as "SAB Managed Account", which are typically brokerage account types.

    The default investment options that are tracked list the account like it is an insurance policy type, with "modal Premium" and "Annual Premium" versus "One Time Investment" and "Regular Investment"

    Is there any way to have functionality to sub-set a brand new Custom Account Type as a brokerage investment account like this versus an insurance policy type account?

    In other industries I've used CRMs where I could click on address or phone for instance to copy to my clipboard for easy pasting elsewhere.

    Create a standard report that list all beneficiaries for all accounts and policies. Or, at at a minimum, enable the ability to create an export report that list all beneficiaries for all accounts and policies.

    In month view I prefer to have the current week near the top so I can see last week and the next few weeks. Near the end of the month I can't see what's coming up. Thanks

  10. Allow customization of "Servicing Advisor" and "Writing Advisor" terms

    We are a wealth management firm that is not an RIA. We do not have sub-advisors, nor do we use the terminology "writing advisor" (this confuses everyone).

    It would be great to customize how we refer to the team members who are bringing in business and managing each client relationship. We might decide to call them "Relationship Manager" and "Sales Manager" for example.

  11. appointment time slots

    Our current business model utilizes appointment slots in 45 minute increments. Tailwag currently utilizes 15, 30, and 60 minute time slots. Can Redtail Tailwag be updated to allow for the 45 minute time slots as well, please?

  12. Laser App - Head of House info populate for spouse

    Currently if I access Laser App under a spouse because it is paperwork for her new account, Laser App will NOT let me select her husband for a beneficiary form or the second of a Joint Ownership. The way it works now, I HAVE to access Laser App under the "FAMILY HEAD" and then keep switching to spouse and back to family head for the different fields I want to populate. It would be very helpful to have the ability to populate with any family member information as needed whether I have accessed Laser App under the Family Head or…

  14. Support for Multi-session Seminars

    We teach multi-session seminars. We would like to be able to track these additional dates from within a single seminar entry. Most of our classes are once a week for 2 or 3 weeks. We'd like to have a spot to put all three dates within a single Redtail "seminar", so we can track the attendees in one place, as well as show each individual event on the calendar.

    Two less-than-ideal workarounds: (1) Make the start date and end date correspond with the first and last dates of the series. This doesn't work well because if we choose to display…

    Be able to choose contacts and their information imported from LinkedIn or other sites to the CRM without having to manually enter in people information.

    For example. I'd be able to click the names of people I'm connected with in LinkedIn to be able to be uploaded to the CRM as potential leads for me to contact

  17. HTML Email Tracking

    Users would like the ability to track whether emails were opened or how often they are opened through HTML tracking.

    Similar to the reports you can get when using constant contact about who has opened an email.

    Add an Estate planning section under KNOW YOUR CLIENT with the following sub sections
    1. Health Care directives - yes or no
    2. A durable power of attorney - yes or no

  20. Drop down choices for "Job Title"

    Customize the "job title" field, less confusion for the same job ie: lawyer / attorney. It will make a search for certain job titles easy as well.
