  1. Add photo images to Notes section of client profile

    We use super-sized 3M chart paper during our in-office client meetings and would love to be able to snap an image of them to apply to the Notes section, or elsewhere to make them readily available for future reference in follow-up calls and meetings. This could also be handy when clients and contacts attend our social events, and we'd like to record fun photos that have become a part of our relationship with them.

  2. Add Family Name Option for Businesses

    Give the option to give businesses a family name (you could call it business name or something different but have it work the same). We often invite businesses to events with other clients and when we pull labels with family names, we have to go in and manually add the name of each business because only their address appears on the label. We also have several businesses where we may want to send it to someone's attention and could do that in the family name because if we do it in the address line 2 spot then the city/state/zip don't…

  3. Creating an Activity Should Send ONE Notification

    When creating an activity... Why does person you are assigning it to receives more than one email notification on the activity? You need to click on edit to add the location and notes, therefore I didn't save the activity so the email shouldn't be sent. If I didn't "Save" it I'm not done creating it.

  5. custom export udf

    Now custom export has the ability to export the UDF's, however if you have the same UDF in the same contact profile (or account profile) it will only export one of those. We, due to lack of a commissions/fee tracking module, use the same UDF's multiple times. Would be helpful to have all instances of the UDF exported in the custom export for reporting.

  6. Note Report

    We would like the ability to format/customize the Note Report in Redtail. When generating this report the information displayed isn't organized in a way we'd prefer. We would like the information to display vertically as opposed to horizontally (ideally be able to flip between both views). Listing Contact Name, Note Added, Account Number, Note, etc) on the left side in a vertical manner as opposed to a header horizontally.

  7. need all fields available to select from for custom reporting

    We need to option to select from ALL fields within a client record and their account records for custom exporting, and would love to have the option to run it in a nice PDF format.

  8. Workflows should indicate who started them - similarly to Activities

    If I am assigned a workflow and have questions on it, I have to go around and ask who started it. If RedTail indicated who started the workflow like they do for activities, I would be able to go right to the source.

  9. Automatically Create and Email Reports to User in Recurring Schedule

    Save Filter in Activity Reports and possible automated report generation?
    When we want to apply a filter to the "Activities by contact" report, we would value the ability to save a particular set of parameters for our filters that we can run on a systematic basis (daily, weekly, etc).

    Even further wishful thinking would be to be able to schedule this report to be run and emailed on an automated basis.

  10. Ability to change username

    I just got married and can't change my username to reflect my new name. I am able to change my last name where it appears in Redtail, but not your username.

  11. Add filters to UDF Reports

    Add a column for advisor or the ability to add columns to the reports or a filter to allow advisor selection. I understand we can send to search, then do a custom export but those are extra steps that shouldn't be necessary..

  13. Reports > Fiduciary > No Contact > Add Advisor fields

    We are using the Fiduciary > No Contact report to keep on top of our client contacts in 2019. It is great to have this function available.

    One problem is that we have four Financial Advisors... so this report is kind of overwhelming without knowing which client is serviced by whom. It would work much better if we could sort or filter by Advisor, whether Servicing or Writing. Or if you are going in the direction of using Roles, then the Advisor, Associate Advisor, and CSA roles. I don't really care which approach you use, just pick one!

  14. Change First Review to Last Review under Client Review

    Instead of "First Review" as the selection under Client Review, would rather have it phrased as "Last Review". The review dates are never going to always be the same day of the designated cycle. Better to change as they are scheduled.

  15. Family Report

    When running a Family report you can only do it on one client. Please consider a way to run a family report on all clients at the same time so you do not have to go to each client one by one to run the report. We would like to have one report that lists all family members for each client. When running a membership report some children do not have the same last name as their parents so they are not listed with the parent they are some where else on the report according to their name.   16. Delete an Email in Email history

    Clients and advisors are in non-business related programs that information is emailed back and forth. Would like the capablility to somehome delete non-business related emails that go into the client folder.

  18. Add Primary Phone & Primary Email to Advanced Search

    I am looking for clients with a phone number but not a primary phone number and an email address but no primary email address. I was able to do this with address. I thought this option was under primary contact till I realized that was a different field altogether.

  20. automated workflow trigger seminar

    I would love a trigger for when I add a seminar to our calendar. It would be very helpful, so I can put reminders in about when we need to pay invoices, mail out letters, etc.
