Redtail Speak - Bulk Messaging to a group
it would great if we can broadcast message a group of contacts, instead of choosing contacts one by one if needing to message all clients in case of an irregular closure or event

Allow upload of advisor picture for SPEAK messages. Bubble is there. Why no upload?
There is a bubble with a silhoutte of a person at the top of the SPEAK page. There should be the ability to upload an advisor picture.

Redtail speak: when texting with a client, I would love those messages to automatically go into the client's account in Redtail CRM
I noticed that Redtail Speak and Redtail CRM to not communicate with each other. It can be time consuming to have to enter into the client's account that you were messaging back and forth. I would love to see them connect whereby the messages are automatically added to the client's account in the CRM.

Primary check box in Contact
In the new dark mode you can't tell which phone number or address, Etc. is primary. It's usually bold and red and now its all Black and you can't tell if it's bold or not.

Disable wedding anniversary reminders on an individual basis
Have a checkbox similar to the "Enable DOB Reminder" but for wedding anniversaries. We like to send texts to our clients for their birthdays and anniversaries. This would help us only have clients included in our reminder list.

dark mode
Love the new dark mode, but when i look at email history all the text is in black against a dark grey background and I can't read it. any way to format this section?

Why am I limited to using a password with a maximum of 16 characters?
With the sensitivity of the information locked behind the User Name and Password, it seems a large oversight that users may only use a password that is 16 digits or shorter in length.

Interface is segmented, Update for better flow
When navigating Redtail, the interface is simple to use, however it is very segmented. For example, when I want to see a client's contact information, I need to click in several areas. I look at the contact card, contact details, then go to the KYC and click through all of that information.
It is very time consuming, we should have the option to combine this all into one clean section when we look at the contact page. The activities should also not be such a large section, they should be off to the side or below the client's information out…

account name
When linking an account to a note, account, or document only the account number and type shows up. Useless! Multiple accounts are present and we need to identify the one or more that we want to link. If 2 contacts are selected and each contact has an IRA and a Roth IRA along with a NQ account or 2 we have no idea which are which. Accounts should also include the title of the account, not just the acct # and custodian

Link UDFs between spouses
It would be nice to be able to see all UDFs for both spouses when you look at one contact's page, instead of having to enter the UDF for both spouses, similar to how Notes can be shared between family members.

Redtail Speak
Redtail Speak - I love the concept of Redtail Speak but the inability to utilize it as a phone number to call or receive calls from clients makes me hesitant. I understand the need for compliant texting however giving my advisors multiple phone numbers for only one use will be confusing for them and clients. I'd love for Redtail Speak to someday have a functionality to make/receive phone calls then it will be 100%!

Dark Mode
Redtail finally added a dark mode! It would be ideal if it was black instead of gray though. That way it would look more like the dark mode with Dark Reader (the google chrome extension). Even better they could add an extra mode that is darker. (Sort of like Twitter's Dark Mode: Dim or Lights out). It's still too bright with the mode redtail just put in.

printable help articles
Would be nice to have the ability to print the help articles for those that are still tactile and prefer to hand out "how-to" articles to the rest of the staff. This is particularly helpful for new Redtail users.

mail merge fields
My company has been w/ RT for about 9 yrs now. Customer service/processes changed about 2 or 3 yrs ago. Our appt dates and times do not merge into our appt letters like before. This is the 3rd or so yr that we have asked for this to be resolved. But we were still being told "RT doesn't have that (merging appt date & times into our annual tax letters) ability". We have been mailing our appt letters routinely for yrs then RT merged w/ someone (Orion??) a few yrs ago then we were no longer able to do our…

knowledge base
I HAVE A MILLION DOLLAR IDEA FOR REDTAIL. Since you already have a "knowledge base" for set up that you control for "how to things" I would like to propose a "knowledge base" for your advisors/staff that we could control to manage information. It would be seperate from yours but would be under our control for quick easy access for checklists, procedures, account and product information so we could save things from the internet and/or documentation (.pdfs videos, etc) for quick & easy access. NO CRM IN THE INDUSTRY HAS THIS and RT already has the technology built to use…

There is a side bar selection called ASSETS/LIABILITIES. That is 50% of a balance sheet. The other 2 categories are INCOME & EXPENSES. I never use this because there is no reason to put 2 categories and the other 2 some else. Please add income & expenses and it will be VERY USEFUL.

Sorting UDF's
Sorting in UDF's. Currently impossible to sort with numbers in the prefix of UDF name. 10 Comes before 2 in the list. Appears to only be looking at the first digit, not the string of digits.
