  1. Can we get a more robust Text Editor for email templates so we can match format for emails sent from Outlook>

    Need more font choices that are easier to choose as well as bold and ability to add text color

  3. UDF Report: More Filters

    It would be helpful to be able to filter the UDF report on contact status. I may need UDF info clients, and not prospects, for instance.

  4. Workflow steps should always have a way to fully complete the whole immediately without adding it as a step

    I wish there was always a way to end the whole workflow at any step, without having to add it as an outcome every single time.

  5. Allow a recurring activity to end after a certain number of times not just on a specific date

    I would like to have the option of ending a repeating task/activity after a certain number of occurrences not just on a specific date. For example, if I have an activity to send a payment reminder for a level term premium, I only need to do it 10 or 20 times. It would be easier to just select the Repeat Ends after X number of times instead of On and then having to go in and select a date 20 years out.

  6. Allow Non-Admin to Add Permissions on NOT Permissioned Contacts

    When contacts are created and the permissions are not set, either because it was initially omitted or if the contact was created automatically by the system, it would be helpful if all users would still have the ability to assign the permissions for them. Requiring an Admin to go in and assign permissions on everything that is not set at the initial stage, is tedious and unnecessary. Please allow "NOT Permissioned" items to be assigned by anyone.

  7. "Birthday Today" Green bar should be listed on both spouses contact record

    When you pullup a client with a spouse/Significant other, and one has a birthday, it would help if it shows on both contact records. For example, You call the wife to chat and then realize it was the husbands birthday, you won't know because the Green bar is only on the Husbands contact record. (I know it shows in the calendar, but Advisors need info fast)

  8. Radio button for selecting mailing address and physical address are the same

    There should be a radio button to designate that the mailing and physical address are the same without having to list the same address twice. It would make the client profile in Red Tail cleaner to look at, and would properly pull the address if home address is selected or if mailing address is selected.

  9. Add: "All Past & Future" to Activities Filter

    Add: "All Past & Future" to Activities Filter

    I set long term activities and it would be great to not have to build a "Custom Range" filtered activity in order to see all activities that exceed 12 Months.

  10. Prior Seminars Accurate Attendee Count

    When looking at the list of prior seminars, the 'Attendee' column is misleading. The number listed includes attendees, no-shows, cancellations, etc. For example, if we want to know how many seminar attendees we've had in the last 6 months, we have to go into each seminar, sort the list, count the number of people with attendee status and then move on to the next seminar. It's quite cumbersome.

  11. Add a Photo Tab

    Have a photo tab within a client's file. We have several clients that are having kids and grandchildren and we would love to be able to add their photos into their file.

  12. INCLUDE Zero Balance Accounts from feeds

    Greetings, we enjoy a feed into Redtail from our primary Custodian. However, while the custodian includes ZERO (-0-) balance accounts in the feed (we believe, because we get them in our internal copy) Redtail does not represent them. We feel this is critical to match new accounts to temporary ones we create with new clients, prior to funding and where we populate detailed info about those temporary accounts. Once an Account Number is then assigned on opening at the Custodian, we have to manually track, update and handle everything until its funded (maybe months depending upon the situation) and finally…

  14. Automatically Alert Team Members of Updates and Adjustments

    Anytime you update an activity or create a new one, it gives the option to alert your team or alert specific individuals within your team. I would appreciate having a setting preference that automatically assumes you wish to alert your team. (Example: Set the automation to alert the team every time you create a new activity, even if they are not participants. Or an automation that alerts your team through email to all adjustments you make on contact records and activities.) I think this would mitigate missed steps to alert your team and maintain constant communication within the team.

  15. custom dates -

    Activties/Dates - go back to the way "custom range" was before the update, new way is to time consuming - using the report option, takes even more time

    Would be great to automatically send an email using a specific, existing Redtail Email Template once an Activity is created.

    i.e. Activity = Client Review. Once created, the Client Review Email Confirmation template would be triggered to send.

    Add ability to customize the view resulting from search results. For example, being able to add a customized UDF column, or phone number, or next client review date, etc.

  18. Employer Information Feed into Client Contact area

    Employer information should feed to the client contact area. This would take out the added step of navigating to the employer record to view this information, and manually update any contact card information on the contact that lists the employer address/phone number.

    Ability to add automation template to send an email when an active client/prospect have an annual review and have a keyword/tag that triggers the automation.

    Specifically, I want to get an email for only active contacts that have the tag "eMoney" on their profile when an "account review appointment" is scheduled.

  20. Viewing reports/Scrolling left and right

    I would like to be able to scroll left and/or right without having to go all the way down to the bottom of the page. OR if I have to go to the bottom of the page I would like to be able to freeze the top row so I can see which columns I am scrolling to. It is very frustrating to have to go to the bottom of the page to scroll left or right and then go back to the top of the page to see if you can see the column that you are looking for.
