filtering by advisor
In our office, advisors have access to each other's Retail records so that if they interact with the other's clients, it can be documented. We don't want to change this permission but we do want to be able to sort/filter clients by advisor. In other words, when the advisor opens Retail, they want to see just their clients. I am told this function is not available, we would like to suggest to add it as an option

Display a warning or automatically select the closest review date if frequency skips next review based on an invalid date.
If a review frequency is chosen that causes the next review to fall on a date that doesn't exist, display a warning or automatically select the closest next review date in that month.

Separate column for Opportunities Client vs Other Contacts
In the Opportunities Layout have the contacts have the client in underwriting separate from other contacts such as underwriters, attorney, etc. Because even when I hover over the contacts link, I have to click on it. It doesn't show who the opportunity is for.
On another note... Have the option to create your own drop down of what the status is in the opportunity. "won or Lost' is not enough and really only applies to the final status.
Documents is not linked to client, so I have to reupload it again under client file.

compliance
We would like the ability for our compliance department to have limited access to our notes within a contact. Example would be within the note template category named compliance. Then the compliance department can review only those notes that have the category tagged as Compliance and not other notes or activities within the Contact

Showing % of investments in a portfolio.
Currently when I open an Investigo account I see % breakdown by investment. It's very helpful when determining how much is equity and how much is fixed income. As a new user I will have to leave Redtail to
return to Investigo for such. I'd really appreciate it if you'd consider it for your platform.1 vote -
See description of two ideas below.
Both of these ideas relate to the Redtail iphone app. 1. Make the default on the calendar page "me" as opposed to the current default of "all users". 2. Don't let the app. close out automatically when the user navigate to another app on their phone. Keep the Redtail app open for at least 15 minutes before automatically closing it.

Contact Headers
It would be nice to be able to Add your own Header on the Contact Pages, ex: A+ Clients, A Clients, B Clients, Etc...
Rather than only being able to use - Favorites, Contacts A-Z, Advanced Search, Lists and Recycle Bin.

In Reminders Can you Please Add "Client Since" as a reminder option just like birthdays. This is a fast way to keep tabs on clients.
PLease add "client since" as an option in reminders so you can see daily any reviews upcoming....just like the birthday reminder that you can view daily to see upcoming birthdays....this seems to be an easy add since you already have several categoreis...

On Redtail mobile app ability to give user option to have a default of all select users so you do not have to select all every time login

With the use Roboform, Redtail does not retain passwords when changing devices.
Redtail does not retain passwords when I change devices. This is a problem. I use Roboform and it doesn't seem to work with Redtail.

All contacts should be accessible especially names in the departments for a business
A contact person can be under a business account such as in a department. When searching contacts these names do not come up unless the business is searched. There should be a way that every contact person name is included in the search engine data.

An option to convert a UDF "any text field" to "List of Values"
Having an option to either convert a UDF any text field to List of values or to designate it during initial import would be handy. creating one is a multi-step procedure currently. Alternatively, since you already have a routine (when you import Writing Advisor) having the back room apply it by request for a given field would also work

Temporarily be able to change Redtail TABS for project work
When I have three or four Redtail tabs open for database clean-up work it would be REALLY helpful if I could right click on a tab and temporarily change its title to what I've sorted or set up. Doing so would NOT change anything on your end, but on my end, when I have a number of these and other tabs open in my browser, and I'm going back and forth among and between them, your tabs would say what I need them to say rather than merely repeats of "Redtail CRM: Contacts" . . . who agrees? :-)

Create a bulk action that allows contacts emails to be changed to their primary email.
