Entering and updating Seminar/Event Attendees
"Attendees" should be "Invites" or Guests", as "Attendees" implies they are attending.
When entering Attendee information, please add the option to add guests in same box we are entering "Attendee". (Thereby avoiding the need to enter the Attendee, save it, then scroll through to find them in the list to then add Guests. (this is silly)
Also, and very important, PLEASE fix the count so that we can see # of confirmations (attending); # of guests; and # of declines. Currently, the count of "Attendees" is every single response which serves no purpose at all.

YES to all the above especially #3!!!!! The Attendees count graphic on dashboard is useless.
I just OVERBOOKED an exclusive client event and had to ask someone to step back because of this. This hasn't changed since 2016? Is this seminar product maintained at all?
Agree, Change Attendees to Invitations or similar.
Add functionality to Attendee status list so that when someone is put as "invited" or "declined" they don't show up on your list of Confirmed Attendees.Also #2. It is silly and old. I just started using this year and CANNOT believe something as simple as this has been affecting user experience and gone unaddressed for at least 8 years???
Salesforce functionality in this space is much better. Come on, RT, invest a few hours of a developer's time to make this change!! You will drive me outside the system to keep track of things like this.

When I have a list of clients who have DECLINED, and they're still appearing in the total "Attendee" count, this is a problem. Anyone who has elected to decline attendance should not be counted in the total Attendee number.

Also it would be nice if we could use mail merge for guests. I need to be able to print name tags for the guests too. As of now, we enter everyone in as a contact. It creates a problem keeping them grouped, so we end up not being able to use the counts given as we have to put the guests names in and put them in as contacts in order to make sure we don't mess up who is supposed to be with who. Also, it wouldn't hurt to just have the guest be a contact in Redtail. Why wouldn't you want to keep their info. At least in our case, we do want to keep their info. When people bring guests we are just as apt to do business with the guest as the invitee. We use mailers so most of the people coming are unknown to us anyhow. We aren't primarily inviting our clients (although we do invite them), our target is new business. Redtail developers should shadow some ot their clients to see how the products are really being used.

Agree. The tally count for Attendees should only include those confirmed attendees. There should be a separate tally for those pending and the declines should not be counted in either of those tallys. Right now the tally for attendees is everybody listed, including the declined.
