Automation Activity Update
In automation please add as a trigger event "Accitivty Changed/Update". I would like the system to notify a specific person that an appointment is updated/changed.
The suggestion may be planned, but there is no timeline on this feature being added.
This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

Is there any update on this? The nature of this request is similar across multiple different requests that have amassed more than triple digits worth of votes, so I doubt adding in my own request will make any impact, but the basis of the request is simple. Is there any plans to allow automations to be triggered by an "update" rather than when "added" for the first (and only the first) time

Having automation for when an activity is updated would also be helpful if we update/change the category. For instance, if the category is left off by accident. Updating to the proper category would still kick off a specific workflow.

Automations for workflows are created to trigger a workflow for specific activity types. However, sometimes the type of activity needs to be changed, which would require a different workflow with different steps. Once the original workflow is generated and you update the "Activity Type", it does not update the workflow to correspond with the new activity type. This has to be done manually. This should be done automatically. We use different workflows for different types of meetings. Not all steps are required for each meeting type. When the wrong type of meeting is chosen in the original task and needs to be changed, we should not have to worry about making sure the workflow is updated. It should be an automatic.

We have several different appointment "types", with different workflows that correspond with each type of appointment. When an appointment is created, you must choose the type of appointment from the dropdown menu. However, sometimes this is forgotten, and the person scheduling has to go back in and "edit" the appointment type. At that point, it will still not attach the correct workflow. It must manually be added. Is there a way to attach a workflow, regardless of the process taken when creating the task? Whether the correct appointment is chosen initially or later added, it should still connect it to the proper workflow.
