Make it possible to change a client's next review date without changing first review date!
It is frustrating when we need to move a client's 'next review date' to another month - go to Edit and only option is to change 'FIRST review date' thus losing that information; there should be an option to change 'NEXT review date.'
The suggestion may be planned, but there is no timeline on this feature being added. This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

This is the main reason we don't use the "next review date" feature - if the client gets off the "first review" schedule, which almost all do over time, the next review date becomes useless.

This feature would be very helpful to have the initial starting point and then be able to adjust from there / Please consider

It is nice to have the initial history and then update as necessary from there

This is important. For a lot of our long-term clients, the first review date is significantly different from the current review dates for the past couple of years.

Please add a last review date section and allow us the ability to select specific months for reviews versus being force to sequence "every 6 months, etc,". We've had to spreadsheet our client review tracking process. With the recent updates, if I have a client set to meet every March and August and I meet with them in April instead of March, there is not way to document that in the client review section without disrupting the whole sequence. In the past, I've just used the first review date field to document last review date but that doesn't work now. Please help. Thanks!

This would make it so much easier on the assistants to do their job more accurately.

The simple, most logical fix to this issue is to not create a next review on the calendar as an appointment but to add a phone call or a task to book the next review at some future date. That way we can control the meeting. But we need to be able to actually set the date for the activity and not rely on some arbitrary "x" months in the future (dates often end up on holidays or weekends). Not sure why this issue has not been addressed in the past 3.5 years with this many votes to fix!!!

Please consider fixing this issue! When you complete a review activity the system should automatically show the next review date a year (or whatever is selected) from the date of the last review. Selecting week three, fourth Thursday, etc. from the date of first meeting is NOT helpful. Our clients change review months all the time. Thus we have to change the date of first meeting. Frustrating!

There are more than 300 votes on this issue, it's obviously a sore spot with advisors. First Review Date should be titled Last Review Date (reason is self-explanatory) and the we should be able to manually enter a next review date, not have it automatically calculated (monthly, every 3 months, on the 15th will put reviews on Saturday's and Sunday's). This suggestion has been open since 2015 - is there ever going to be any action on this????

The first review shouldn't ever changed. However if you called this last review date, that would work. For Example - let's say a new client's 1st review was in 2015 - that would never change. However it could be that their last review was 1/22/18 and then next review is 1/22/19. That's what we would need to know, not that their 1st review was in 2015, which we could find in completed activities if we did need to know it.

You should be able to manually put in First Review Date (which you can) and manually put in Next Review Date (if you have First Review Date set to "repeat never"). I was very disappointed to see that I could not just manually put in the Next Review Date. Now I am having to create custom UDF's that say "First Review Date" and "Next Review Date" just so that i can get the dates on the same screen and be able to manually input like I want. I can still run my reports for UDF's, but it does not show next review on the "TODAY" page on on the ciient's "CONTACT" page like it would if I could just manually put both on the Know Your Client section.

Yes! Right now I use Appointments because they have more flexibility than the Client Review reminders. It would be also wonderful if we could add notes to the review reminders.

I agree completely. The first review date should be last review date. Also, in Redtail before we transitioned to Tailwag the Review Date was based on the calendar date not the 1st Monday of the month. I just tried to put a review in for a client and this is annoying. It would be nice just to say review is annually in October. Please allow us the option.

Yes please do. I'm keeping track on an excel sheet. Last review date could be a wonderful feature that tracks the history of reviews and reminds us globally of future reviews that need to be set.

Yes, "first review date" should be named "last review date" and there should be something to allow users to actually complete the review so it doesn't show up on the "past due" reminders on the calendar. This is so frustrating. What purpose does "past due review" serve if it shows all reviews, not just the ones that are actually "past due"?

First review date should be re-named "Last Review Date" - also need to able to manually enter a date - makes no sense to pick a day or date based on an arbitrary one month, two month, etc (So I pick an actual date and it falls on a a Saturday or Sunday, what then?). I understand the need to create automation but it doesn't fit every client - give us the option to enter a date manually.

The review date at the top of each contact should be changeable and not directed only by the last review date ("first review date") and the frequency chosen. We should be able to change it easily without changing the last review date ("first review date").

We have a similar issue and one of the problems we have had is setting a review reminder for the 1st Monday of X Month, if the first Monday is the 7th and the last review date was on the 1st, which is a Tuesday, the next review date defaults to the 7th when the review was in-fact just completed a few days prior.
