When pulling the report to see notes not permission, it would be great if activities and workflow notes weren't apart of that report. For some reason not all activities show in the notes section of a client when completed. I can't seem to find how to permission workflow notes and they just stay on my report.

printing notes
Recently we noticed that when we print a note it is automatically inserting a letter "A" after multiple spaces. The additional letter is causing issues when reading the printed note, especially since it doesn't show in the actual note/activity on Redtail. Can this feature be removed so it doesn't show anymore, please?

full dates on note history
Notes less than a week or two weeks old summarize the date of the note: e.g. "Last Tuesday at 1:14 PM". It would be more useful to list the full date - Tuesday, March 12th @ 1:14 PM.

Have the notes option available for households
In households, have a notes option so we don't have to post the same note on each separate client. This is helpful we we do a household review of accounts or the note item affects all the members of the household.

Showing "Versions" of notes
I understand why notes cannot be deleted, but when there is a typo or a bit of information is entered in incorrectly, rather than just adding a comment, it would be nice to edit/fix the note, but still leave the original. Like having the ability for a note to have multiple versions that are all viewable at any time, but the most recent being the one viewed from the "latest notes".

Faster/Easier Access to Old Notes
When viewing notes for a client that's been with you for several years is a very time consuming task. If there were numbered notes pages, like when shopping online where you can click back to another page it'd be easier than scrolling all of the way down through 10-15 years worth of notes. One of the users in our office once had this as an option for a brief time but none of the other users for the same CRM had it. Link Notes Via Checkbox
It would be nice to link the activity notes using a check box rather than copy/pasting the description into the linked note box. Less typing and it auto links. Auto-updating the linked note would to the link activity would be great too.

Sort notes via date created
When an activity is completed it shows as a note - we would love to have the ability to sort those by the date created opposed to the date the activity was completed.

Notes/Activities Should Inherit Permissions of Contact
Currently, if you create a note or activity within a contact record, that note or activity is not permissioned by default.
While permissions can be set for the contact record itself, so that others are not able to view the notes and activities inside the record, there is still a way for the entire database to see it.
On the dashboard, it will show you all notes within the lat 7 days CRM-wide and all unfinished activities. These notes and activities include the contact name that is tagged to it and could potentially contain other confidentail info.

ability to filter notes by user and timeline
It would really be great to search through notes with a filter for user. It would also be great to have a filter to look at past notes within a certain timeline.

date of notes
This has been truly the most frustrating part of this program. I assist 3 advisors and they each have multiple client meetings a day. I am not always able to get all the notes in on that day. If I were able to put them in by selecting the date they actually happen and it put it in order for me that would be SOOOOO helpful. Currently I have gotten more behind on my data entry and feel overwhelmed knowing I will have to search my email for all the notes related to that client file and put them in…

I have a large database that multiple users have access to. When I check permissions on all of the notes in the database, I also see workflow notes. I can't seem to permission those notes. Please create an option for permissions for workflow notes or another spot for workflow notes to be permissioned.

Customizable Short Hand Keywords For Notes
Ability for users to create and customize their own short hand keywords when typing out notes. Example: Instead of having to write out "annual review discussion with" the short hand keyword can be "Ardw" which will then spell out the entire phrase.

Add different color font like notes, and places we can type information. When your older, you can code things and see them easier.

ai for zoom & teams meetings
feature for zoom & teams meetings - video & voice... smart ai notes... like Fathom or otter ai. notes get summarized, we get to edit/ verify, then post to crm.

Ability to create activites and workflows from Notes report
I'd like to go through all documented notes from the previous business day to make activities or workflows directly from the note report. Currently, I have to go to the contact then find the exact note to create the activity.
It would be helpful to see if activities/workflows have been created from the notes report like it is in the contact notes.

Please make the comments on Notes more visible!
Instead of displaying "Comments (1)" and then having to click to view more, it would be nice to have all the comments on notes visible/auto expanded.

Client task bar
What would really be helpful is an open task bar on each contact. It would be a bar or section on the side that you could add editable ongoing notes about what is going on with this client. Things and info that you need right away. For example: Do not text this client - always call, remember this for our next meeting, these are things we are working on or toward, We are doing this on this account, etc. Things that are already in their notes, but quick and easy to see and can be changed as you go forward.…

Enhance text search capabilities (Exact Phrase and Exclude Term)
Really this applies to all text searches.
In addition to the simple word searches we can currently run, it would be very useful if we could search for exact phrases (as you would use quotation marks to denote in most internet search engines) AND to exclude words and phrases from searches (commonly denoted by the use of a minus sign immediately before the exclusion term).
