archived emails and searches
If you archive an email and the client no longer uses emails they still show up in a search when using email address is not empty because there is an email but it's archived - archiving information should not be used for reports and searches - it returns bad information!

Dog names
I miss the doggy pics with their names. Not so concerned about the owners but miss saying good morning to the dogs upon login. Please give them names!

dynamic passcode generator
like Schwab has... phone app generates unique set of six numbers every thirty seconds that appends to the end of password. Very secure. Unlike your current MFA which simple browser password savers seem to circumvent. I do not feel safe or secure at present considering how much critical info we have stored

Allow phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses to be re-arranged.
Allow users to re-arrange addresses, phone numbers, & email addresses.
I understand this idea is already out there, but here it is again, with a possible fix... Make it so that we can "Click & Drag" to re-arrange the list. Right now, it just lines them up as they are entered.3 votes -
Support Chat Bubble
The current chat bubble that shows in the bottom right really should be moved to the bottom left so that it's out of the way of being able to see a clients overall account values when looking at the account tab. Currently it blocks the total value and you can't click and move it anywhere else.

On Imports do not create a duplicate contact if there is a matching name and email in the system already. Other CRM's do this, you can make it optional based on preference and then create an output from the import process that shows which ones were not imported. This is critical for a process I have to do.

Vault feature
Consider adding a "Vault" feature to Redtail CRM or as a separate module that would allow the secure transfer of documents between clients and advisors.

Make "Lets Talk" Chat Bubble Moveable
PLEASE make the "Lets Talk" chat bubble in the bottom right of the screen minimizable, closeable, or at the very least MOVEABLE. It's in the way of information we utilize and its INFURIATING.

Employee time clock
Show when users log out of Redtail and use as an employee timeclock.

Radio button for selecting mailing address and physical address are the same
There should be a radio button to designate that the mailing and physical address are the same without having to list the same address twice. It would make the client profile in Red Tail cleaner to look at, and would properly pull the address if home address is selected or if mailing address is selected.

licenses
In the Licenses tab, it would be helpful for the list to start out in alphabetical order. I think it defaults to when the record was added, which isn't very useful in practice. We use this tab to list all rep codes and license numbers for each of our advisors.
I know we can click on the Company header to sort alphabetical, but having this as the default would be nice!

Create a New Hire Onboarding Dashboard
In recruiting, you need to know everyday where you new hires are within the Onboarding Process. Redtail does not offer a "dashboard" at this time. Please consider creating one.

password
Make password requirements compatible with Apple Passwords (and other password managers). I don't have trouble with many sites, but it seems that it would be simple enough for the RedTail team to either modify metadata to communicate existing password rules to password managers, or make the rules themselves compatible with most password managers. They seems to be somewhat standardized and highly secure. Thank you.

Dark Mode - Google has this feature. White background becomes black to help eye sight.
Our office staff sits in front of a computer 8-10 hours a day. White background is brighter and causes more strain/fatigue in eyesight. A "dark mode" would help minimize that feeling/strain.

To Do List
I see it's been posted a few times but I just want to reiterate, a running To-Do List would be an invaluable feature to Redtail. It would be great to simply be able to add items to the list and then re-arrange based on priority. This would be for simple and one-off tasks where a workflow might not be appropriate or necessary and would help keep my desk clear of sticky notes. Would be ideal to make sure it appears on the phone app too. Please add this (seemingly) simple feature.

Orion Integration Report
There needs to be a simple way for us to see which contacts have been linked to the Orion Integration. The only way currently is to go to the client, click on integrations and see what pops up. Some sort of report or field for each contact would be helpful to audit the integration.

Default Permission
It would be helpful to be able to say "any contact added by XYZ user should be assigned a default Permission of ABC". The current options in the Automations do not allow for this.
We have multiple users in our database that only work under one team. It is an extra step for them to remember to add their Permission each time they add a contact and even harder to remember to go in and update any contacts that are created automatically as Employers or Spouses etc.
Having this set to happen automatically would be a huge time saver and…
