This would be incredibly helpful, and I'm surprised that this hasn't been reviewed by Redtail yet.

This was aggravating when we switched to Redtail last year and had 1,600 accounts imported. While it did take me quite some time, I ended up writing a "script" of sorts in Excel to help with this, although it really only helped with qualified accounts.

I exported data from DST Vision, AssetMark, and a few annuity companies. Using the "vlookup" function in Excel, I was able to look up an account number in one spreadsheet, find the type of qualified account, and put that into another spreadsheet that would then be imported back into Redtail.

This took a lot of time but much less than updating 1,600 accounts manually.

It does bug me that the Registration/type of account is in a completely separate section of Account information in Redtail than the Qualified Type field, but it is what it is. I doubt they would totally revamp that since it could drastically affect existing databases.

Please also add Beneficiary Roth IRA to the list of Qualified account types! This is important!

I agree that the tiny circle/square is somewhat useless. I use this mainly for our business clients to add their logo. I don't see the usefulness of using it for clients to add photos since it is so small. There is a lot of real estate on that contact screen header, and a larger client photo/headshot/logo would be useful.

I would also like additional automation triggers. We do a lot of group benefits (401k, group medical, ancillary benefits), and are starting to add workflows for specific employer clients so the proper steps are taken for their specific group. I wanted to set one up to trigger when a new contact has a specific employer. I might start using Source for this instead, and use that as the trigger.
