  1. emailing out of "things to do today"

    It would be helpful to have the ability to select contacts from the "Things To Do Today" page and send them a bulk email. Ofter we have contacts that we are just keeping in touch with. That email out is ofter the same language time and again. It would be great if we can select the clients and send them through our outlook email/

  2. email

    Current email feature within Redtail does not allow files to be attached from two different locations (folders). Doing so will overwrite the first attachment with the new one. It seems like a defect since this would be unexpected behavior and no message is provided to the user that the prior attachment(s) have been removed by attaching subsequent files.

    I request that this feature be added or this defect be fixed to allow adding attachments from more than one folder without deleting the previously attached files.

  3. Create activity from an email

    Can you give us a little box at the bottom of the email window that would allow us to create an activity automatically from the email we're sending?

  5. Display emails in the Notes/Activities feed on the "home" page of the contact

    The "activity feed/Latest Notes" area already displays both notes and completed activities. I suggest that it should also display emails for that contact. Right now, you have to go to the separate Email History page to view emails.

  7. Simple email link to household without archiving

    Have just a simple email link to a household from outlook vs the full archive. A free feature that other CRM's utilize would be helpful instead of needing the archive features at an additional cost.

  8. Save all emails as notes

    Currently, we can manually choose to save the emails we send through the CRM or set up the templates to automatically check the box to save. Can we look at adding a preference where every single email we send through the CRM automatically has the "Save As Note" box checked? Thanks!

  9. Email Templates and Attachments

    Email Template ability to attach file
    We use email templates to send confirmation emails to clients and we have to drag a document containing map, agenda etc. If would be beneficial if we can attach the document at the template level

  11. email journaling

    Our former CRM system Wealthbox allowed us to seamlessly journal emails from microsoft office once they connected. How come Redtail cant? Why is it so difficult to connect microsoft office? We would gladly pay to have it easier.

  12. Exporting Email History in Bulk Actions

    Option to be able to export Email History in bulk actions.
    OR
    Add an option to filter for category, status, etc, within the Email History Reports tab.

  13. Pull in both spouses' email addresses with email templates

    We always communicate with both spouses via email and right now to use an email template, you first have to go to one spouse's record, copy their email, and then go to the other spouse's record to send the email template. It would be great if Redtail could pull in the spouse's email with a button, sort of like how you can use ##SpouseFirstname##.

  14. be able to HTML email code.

    We were previously able to code email's instead of simply typing into the body of the email. It was taken away for an unexplained reason. It was an incredibly helpful feature.

  15. A ticket response, by mail, needs to give detail on what the ticket was about.

    It says "here is a reminder", but there is NO reminder. Some time I make several calls a day to redtail and it can be difficult to remember the details.

  16. Linking and emails

    It would be nice to have the emails also show up in the notes section so you do not have to jump back in forth from the email section to the notes section in a Redtail contact page when reviewing a clients data. Also, it would be nice to be able to link notes you have already written (existing notes) to activities and opportunities while you are in the activity or opportunity. You can link them from going to the notes and creating a follow up, but you can't pull up existing notes when in an activity or opportunity. And…

  17. Have the ability to attach an email to another contact besides the contact that the email is sent to.

    If I send an email to a company in reference to a client, the email is archived under the company. I need the ability to manually attach the email to the client also, so that the email will show up under the client. What I have to do now is create an activity, link it to both the company and the client, and copy the email to the activity - so it will show up in the notes of both the company and the client.

  18. Is there a way to only see recent client contact e-mails within Redtail?

    Currently I am unable to filter e-mails to and from my contact clients in Redtail. When I go to Redtail, scroll to reports then filter, all e-mails within last 30 days for example, I generate a list of all my e-mails from vendors, advertisement etc. Would like a way to filter only e-mails from my clients that have an e-mail address listed in contacts.

  19. Provide archiving rules and exemptions with compliance filtering

    We like having the ability to see emails sent from all advisors to any client, however there is no way to exempt our spam emails, or filter out internal staff emails that should be kept private. We've deleted our emails from contact records, but b/c they are tied to our user profiles, they still filter in. The email history is filtered with junk email and multiple threads of the same message when multiple users are CC'd. My CCO is still using Global Relay for compliance b/c there's nothing to help filter for a keyword or other parameters that are essential.…

  20. Email history tooltip/info note that informs users email history can be delayed up to 24 hours

    an Email history tooltip/info note , in the email history tab, that informs users email history can be delayed up to 24 hours. This way, people are not confused as to why their email history is not showing up
