  1. Custom Export Include Assigned Permission

    It would be helpful to be able to include the assigned permissions in a custom export to make it easier to review which contacts are assigned to which permissions.

  2. Viewing Account # on Activities Dashboard

    When viewing the list of open activities it would be EXTREMELY useful if the linked account to the activity would show. Personally, the location feature is not useful to my firm. Either in place or besides that would be very convenient.

    As of now, the only way to view the account linked to the activity is by clicking on the activity and opening it.

  3. Search for contacts without shared phone numbers

    It would be much more convenient to have the ability to search for contacts that do not have a shared phone number when you search for contacts without a phone number currently contacts with shared phone numbers still display.

  4. archive old notes to speed up the notes report

    the longer I use Redtail the bigger my notes reports becomes. that is a good thing except that i rarely need to access notes from, say 10 years ago and the notes reports can bog down and cause a timeout. Could you auto-archive notes beyond perhaps 5 years? I still want them accessible and searchable, but they could be in an archive "just in case" rather than the "let me scan the last 2-3 years worth of notes" scenario that happens daily but requires hundreds of pages of notes to be pulled causing (I am guessing) pretty heavy usage on…

  5. Segmentation Field

    It would be really nice to have a "Segmentation" field (customizable) so that we can simply input the segmentation of that client there, rather than having to use custom status, category, keywords, or tags. I can't imagine it would be very difficult but would be a much appreciated convenience.

  6. easily access notes related to user

    There is no where to easily see all notes that are related to each user. I recently called in and was told about the reports by contact and then by user and date range. However it would be far simpler to be able to click on the notes tab from the today page and see any notes related to myself. Our advisor uses notes frequently after meeting with a client to direct us on how to proceed with their accounts. Having to open each note individually from email or run the report every day is tedious. Is there a way…

  7. Initial Log in page

    I love seeing dogs and was easily and pleasantly amused each day by the Golden Retriever with his head hanging out the window. But lately, what looks like some kind of subscriber person promotion, are these really cute puppies that look like purebred dogs that easily could have cost $3000 to $6000 in fees. I have been a dog shelter volunteer for 18 years. Euthanasia rates are in the millions per DAY for dogs and cats languishing in underfunded shelters and rescue group struggle daily to feed, vet, shelter, train etc from underfunded budgets to keep animals until their FOREVER…

  9. Imaging Built Into the Client Portal

    It would be nice to not have imaging as a separate "entity" from our clients. I know you can access it with each individual client but it would be nice if it was built into the clients portal like it is with documents. That way it can be accessed more easily and would allow for us to have greater coordination and organization.

  10. Add alphabet hyperlink to the top of imaging so you can go straight to the first name beginning with that letter rather than scrolling

    In imaging it would be great to have an alphabet hyperlink that would take you to the first folder in that letter set starting with that letter. Example, hit the t it takes you to Tanner, etc. As our client base is growing this feature would save a lot of scroll time.

  12. system validation that does not allow you to save a Workflow that has Outcome(s) associated to Steps that are removed (no longer exist)

    When Outcomes exist that were associated to Steps that were removed, two things appear to happen; 1) on Workflows, the Outcomes just disappear without warning. and 2) on Workflow Templates, this appears to have caused the Workflow Templates to behave as follows: can't "create the workflow" from a contact record and when the workflow template is selected and fired by an automation, the workflow does not start at the first step. System validation should be put in place to notify and/or prevent saving of Workflows and Workflow Templates that have Outcome(s) associated to Steps that are being removed (no longer…

  15. Default to Primary Beneficiary being listed First

    Under the accounts, could it DEFAULT for the primary beneficiaries to be listed first, then the contingents? I often have to delete and reinput them in the 'correct' order, especially when there are changes.

  16. Mobile Calendar not displaying activity over multiple days correctly

    On my desktop I can see that a team member has an all day vacation activity set up for the date range 6/14-6/23. When I look at my mobile calendar I am only seeing an All Day vacation note for the first day and then nothing to indicate his vacation on the following days. This should be showing up for each day that is in the range of the original activity. It is confusing to not show this for each day that he is out on vacation.

  17. Adjust the "Repeat Ends" Calendar Date for Repeating Activities

    When a recurring activity is set and the "repeat ends" is selected, the calendar jumps to today. It should jump to the date of the activity.

    For example, when I set up an event for next year, I have to scroll through a year of the calendar to get to the end date for the recurring event. It logically should pop up starting with that future date.

  18. firm level admin

    There should be a way to have the management team, compliance, etc to be able to view all records in Redtail without having to create a team. Teams are great for advisor level restrictions, but it makes no sense for management or compliance to have to be given permissions to view clients.

  19. Send to Mailchimp - Include Phone Number Please!

    When sending contact information out of Redtail to Mailchimp, we only get the contact name and email address (which is still helpful!) It would be great if the exported information also included the phone number, city, and ZIP code (but I'd settle for just the phone number). Thanks!

  20. Add a UDF or text box to Contact Card

    Being able to add either a text box or a UDF to the Contact Card would allow the mobile app to see that data ie: username & password.
