Accounts - Transactions- Trade type
Please add "EXCHANGE" & TRANSFER" to the transaction trade type. I'm sure other advisors use exchanges and transfers from time to time.

Recurring meetings and synching issue
Recurring meetings and syncing issue.
I just called the help desk along with the owner of the company. When a recurring meeting is scheduled through Outlook, it is not populating or syncing with the Redtail calendar. Even doing a manual sync will not help. According to the rep we spoke with, this is a known issue that Redtail is NOT willing to fix. That is disappointing to hear as we feel that Redtail doesn't care for their clients, even though our rep said they did. If they cared about their clients, they would offer a discount for their product's inadequacy…3 votes -
Asset ID on Account Exports
Include the AssetID on Account Exports when assets are selected on a Report. We cannot currently update assets on accounts without this information.

New contact from with household permissions
When selecting "Add Dependent" from a Household, to create a NEW contact you are not given the New Contact screen. A contact is simply created without the option to edit the contact prior to creation. If you use permissions to divide your database, this results in a user who is unable to see or edit the new contact they just created.
The two solutions I can think of; Give the option of creating the new dependent via the new contact screen, where the user can set their team permission. OR have the option in settings, to give new dependents created…3 votes -
Activities by Contact Report Should Have a Category Filter
My firm categorizes all clients via "category" - to develop appropriate service models for each client. It would be massively helpful for us to view all clients who have "schedule meeting tasks" (under the custom "schedule meeting" template that we've created), during a certain timeframe, AND to be able to filter that report by client category. I know this must be a fairly easy addition as it is in essence, just the inverse of the "Contacts with no upcoming activities" report.

default activity duration
default activity duration - adding 1 hr 15 mins for default activity time would be very helpful! We set all of our appointments for 75 minutes, and it is a hassle to only be able to set for 60 or 90 minutes, nothing in between.

Add FYI for other users to view
Provide ability to add an FYI only for team members alerting them that a task/activity is in process. This avoids having multiple people duplicating efforts

Mobile app - add ability to see only appointments
Right now on the mobile app, I'm only able to select which users appear on my calendar. It then shows all tasks and appointments on the calendar. Please add a feature where I can choose to only see appointments on my calendar for the selected users, like I can do on the desktop version. Thanks!

Option to show review reminders for specific users instead of NONE or ALL in the calendar.
The calendar ignores the selected users and shows either ALL client reviews for all users, or NO client reviews. It isn't possible to show reviews for just the currently selected calendar users. If one wants to show reviews, then automatically reviews for all clients for all advisors are shown. Please allow a filter for this. Thanks.

Create a duplicate by phone number report
Create a duplicate by phone number report to make clean up practical. There are many similar names but phone numbers are more unique to a client. Thanks.

Remove SEI marker next to contact name when client no longer holds SEI assets.
It is inaccurate to have SEI marker next to client name when they no longer hold any assets with SEI.

Local time
Allow me to remove "Local Time" It is not needed and will clutter the screen. I know some people might like it, so allow it to be turned off.

Switch the help location and the google forums area In the red tail help center
So my thought process is, that when people want help, or to submit feedback, they would typically look for the first available options right.
Well, when you go to the help screen, the first option besides call someone is the google group which is meant to share ideas.
Wouldn't it then make sense to swap where the two locations are? To have like minded ideas near each other so when the user wants help, theres the spot. And when the user wants new ideas, it's more near the training section.
But hey, just my two cents!

Please add Central Time to emails offering RT Webinars
When offering RedTail Webinars, you only give (PT/ET), why do you leave off CT? I know it is a small calculation in my head to figure it out, but why not just include it?

Accounts By Status
The Report "Accounts By Status" should change the name to "Accounts by Open/Close" since the word "STATUS" is used in Contact Details as a user defined field and this report does not reference that field.

Opportunity location
while the source field is helpful to perhaps provide a name of the person that referred, a Location would also be helpful. This would be very helpful for those of us that work in a Financial Institution and want to report the dollars closed in a particular branch location or other user defined location.

Hide or show account fields based on type of account
The accounts section needs some work imo. It is not really geared to support annuities at all. There are lots of fields that are not relevant for certain account types by are for others. It would be nice if based on the account type it would only show relevant fields. It seems like you sort of do this with some account types but the fixed annuity one seems not relevant at all to fixed annuities. For example under registration it should say "annuitant" not insured. And the sections about face amount and such don't make sense. Also unless you add…

client account summary report
We would like to have a report that could be given to a client that shows company, product, type, tax status, and value that looks nice. The Portfolio summary report is ok but needs some work. It would be nice to hide or exclude certain accounts from the report. I.E. a life policy cause it doesn't seem that relevant. Second it would be nice to sort them by tax type. "here is all your ira accounts" here is all your roth". Also consolidate the line items about ownership or remove them so each account doesn't take up a ton of…
