How can we improve Redtail Technology's CRM?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  1. User Privileges For Client Account Integration

    Our office has two sides - an Accounting firm who are not licensed to view client financial account information, and a Financial Management firm that does. All of us use Redtail for a CRM and we are unable to integrate financial information into our database via Albridge, etc because some users are not cleared to view such client information.

    What if we could assign permissions or user privilege's to CRM users that allowed them to view a client's accounts and/or financial information?

  2. Allow to flag activities for today

    Because I share activities with my paraplanner, I need a way to flag activities that I need to complete for the day and to sort them accordingly. I am having up to 60 activities a day due to a large client base and this would be a most helpful feature.

  3. Contact by aum report

    There is currently an option to run an amazing report for Contacts by AUM however it will only allow you to pull up to the TOP 100. It would be great if we had an option to pull ALL contacts by AUM in the same manner.

  5. Let us use Google Authenticator to sign in, instead of having to remember passwords

    Let us use Google Authenticator to sign in, instead of having to remember passwords. It is most irritating to have 100 different passwords to keep track of, using Google Authenticator makes it 100 times easier to verify who we are!

  6. Make it easier to generate searches...NO +, &, =, greater than or less than nonsense

    Make it easier to generate searches...NO +, &, =, greater than or less than nonsense, very confusing. If we select a financial Professional it should be the person or persons, no one else. Birthdays per prof. should not have others in the list

  7. Speak Internal Messages Sync with CRM Notes

    It would be nice to be able to have an internal conversation about a client on Redtail Speak and have it populate as a note on the Redtail CRM contact record. For example, if the Advisor wants to ask a staff member a question about why an action was taken, it'd be nice to have the whole back and forth between them in the contact record as note to reference later

  8. Workflow trigger by automation from outside RT doesnt link contact

    This used to work. I have Zapier create activities that trigger workflows thru automations. Those workflows USED TO BE linked to the contact automatically. Since the API upgrade this is no longer the case.

    Support says "This is because Automations are triggered by manual actions taken by the user. Items would require an additional 'touch' if created by an outside entity electronically such as Zapier"

    Old change logs show this was an issue with the old API and was resolved, this should be simple to fix with the new one. Please address as it kind of defeats the purpose of…

  9. Feature on the calendar to export an event as an outlook event.

    So it would be pretty cool if there was a feature that you can click on and that would copy an activity from the calendar and convert it to an outlook calendar item. This would be different from the outlook calendar integration. What I am thinking is, say you have 10 different events on your calendar on a specific day on redtail. You want only one of them on your outlook calendar. It would be neat if I have an option to click a button and convert it to an outlook event.

  12. multifactor

    Redtail needs to have a secure multifactor solution. a SMS MFA is the lowest form of MFA and is not very secure. Why is there a delay in providinga dequate protection ?

  14. Household Address - Marketing Pro

    Please turn back on the ability for household address to feed over to Marketing Pro. I have review postcards that are not being sent out to clients if they are not Head of Households. Reviews are managed by the individual not by the household. Please turn back on the feed for shared address! The address for the spouse use to feed to Marketing Pro, but since Redtail changed this feature it is causing clients to miss their review postcards and emails. This is an essential part of our business. Otherwise I would have to manually enter HUNDREDS of spouse addresses.…

  16. Ability to link Redtail Imaging folders to Account level in Redtail CRM

    We store docs in both the CRM and Redtail Imaging. would like the ability to link RedTail Imaging folders set up for a clients specific Account Documents to the Account record in the CRM.

    comments are taking too long to post with moderator approval. I have a few that have been awaiting approval for months! What is the point of allowing comments if you're not going to look at them and post to the suggestion!!!!!!
