Contacts > Notes > Comments Notification
Comments on a Note currently do not prompt RedTail to send an Email Notification to the Note Owner. As a result, we just realized that we had been commenting on notes... but the note owners didn't know! Please add a function so that Comments on Notes prompt an Email Notification to whomever created or commented on the note.

The suggestion may be planned, but there is no timeline on this feature being added.
This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

Ok so here we are in 2023 and Redtail still doesn't have this feature. Seriously this has to be a joke. What is the point of adding comments to the note feature if someone can't be notified that a comment exists, especially if someone is asking for an item or an update. This feature needs to be added ASAP, Redtail seems to lag alot on important features and implementing things people need and actually use. Get it togehter ladies and gents.

Agreed! Please add this feature to alert the author of the note when a comment is made.

Agree - we have been adding comments frequently, and the creator of the note did not get a notification!

This, or some type of notification system, is needed. I think it would be cool if we could tag the other users in the office in the comments like a social media feed.
As new users of the CRM, comments are frequently being used since notes cannot be edited. When you work as a team sometimes notes needed to be added to, corrected, etc., however you can't do this in Redtail. Which makes the comment section fairly dire and yet easy to overlook bc there's no alert system to it.

This would be an important feature to have, we need the notification so all of our team members are informed. Please add this functionality as soon as possible

I would also like to see comments trigger a notification email!!!

Here for this. It would be ideal if we could type @JohnDoe and it triggers the notification to the user. This would similar to how we all use social media platforms.
