Laserapp - Memberships
all memberships should transfer to laser app, not just children, they could be ex spouse or other family members that are benes. the way it is now i have to input the info in membership with redtail & imput the same in laser app when all person attached to a contact should beable to be picked & added not just children
Redtail’s Product Owner has read the suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps.
This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

This is definitely a flaw. We created a separate Trust contact and related the Trust to the original contact in two ways: 1.) through the membership feature 2.) creating the Trust under the contact "relationships" feature. This is still inadequate because it does not relay this info with the Laser App integration. Also, most "trust" assets should be householded under the original contact's asset profile

This needs to be fixed ASAP as the Primary address keeps overriding the other addresses that we put into LaserApp to complete the client's paperwork. We need to be able to have both a mailing an physical address in both systems without one overriding/deleting the others. Especially when having both addresses (if two) is a requirement on our paperwork.

That would be helpful - we have two brothers who own a business together, but are not technically the same household and are listed as different families

That sounds like a great idea. I have a suggestion in the meantime: if you go to LaserAp under the head of household record, anyone you have in the family will show up in the list and you can choose which person you would like as bene. When you click on the insert buttons on the forms, it pops up a list of all the members of the household and you can choose from there which person you would like on the form. Good luck!

Can we add Maiden Name to the request? It's a field in Retail that does not transfer.

Any office that uses Laser App would agree to this! Please create the membership insert button!

This would be great for business contacts also, as to set up a 401k we need to carry over trustee info..

Quikforms - If I am running an application for the spouse, the beneficiaries do NOT show up in Quikforms. Beneficiaries only show up under Head of Household. This is a cumbersome approach for completing an application that is supposed to be making things more efficient.

Agreed. This is often an issue when the contact is not the head of household. The other family members are not listed in the LaserApp info. Having an insert option to select any other contact information to automatically populate would be helpful.

hmmm...not sure why you HAVE to go to head of household. Maybe it's the way you have your records set up. I have no problem. Sorry you are....because I think Laser Ap is one of the best things to happen to the "fillable form world".

The crux of the problem is that you HAVE to go into the head of household. I'm not even sure why there even has to be a head of household. Let all linked records just link. It will make it intuitive for new users and make it easier for existing users. Although it can be done "in a certain way" it is inconvenient. Some people might disagree but I'm sure there are a ton of people who agree that don't post or even come on this page.

I just went into this directly from the spouses record, and ALL her info came up. I'm not sure why you are having a problem with this. When you go to laser ap from HOH, of course you will have to select the other person's info,. If you are doing a form specifically for the spouse, just go in through THEIR record. Simple.

Suzanne and Brian...If I'm trying to fill in a form for the non-head of household and I bring up that form via the head of household I'm then forced to go through the entire form and confirm that I've selected the correct persons information. What should happen is an export to LaserApp should create all entries in LaserApp so I can go to the person I'm wanting to create paperwork for and not worry about having someone elses information on the form. This is definately not an implemented solutions.

I just tried it with my family and it works fine. Like Brian said, you need to go into laserap from the head of household. also make sure your address and phone numbers are shared with the HOH (you should see a little link next to the extended family address).

Please transfer all membership information, family information, etc. As it stands now we have to go to each person we need in LaserApp and Send to LaserApp one by one....how painful.
