Email's sent regarding an activity need improvement
When I create or update a task and add my assistant as a user, she receives an email with a very generic note that says an activity has been updated or created.
It would be very useful if at least the subject of the task could be the subject of the RedTail email, and it would be even better if the advisor assigning the task would be listed in the subject line as well.

list two contacts when attached to note/activity, not just '2 contacts'
I realize you like to say 2 contacts when both spouses are attached to an activity to save space but I'd love it if you only did that when 3 people are attached. I am trying to be good with my notes and attach both parties so they each have a record of it but then on printed reports, I can't tell who the activity or note is for. So list both names at two, summarize at 3.

Creating an Activity Should Send ONE Notification
When creating an activity... Why does person you are assigning it to receives more than one email notification on the activity? You need to click on edit to add the location and notes, therefore I didn't save the activity so the email shouldn't be sent. If I didn't "Save" it I'm not done creating it.

To Do:
A blank note pad (Not linked to calendar or contact) to be able to add and delete notes, things to do, etc. There are plenty of "To Do Things that I do not want cluttering up the calendar but need to from a "Notepad" once finished. It would be nice to have this in Redtail so that I have it digitally where ever I go not just on y desk.

Linked Notes & Linked Documents to be shown in Activity via date/time stamp
Within the Activities, the Linked Notes do not seem to be sorted consistently by date/time. When referencing the Linked Notes within the Activities, it's sometimes very confusing to figure out which Notes to read in which order so that any Admin can reference to better understand the history and periodic updates associated to the Activity.
This is true also for the Linked Documents as there may be multiple versions of the same document (Unsigned Doc, Client-Signed, Client&Agent-signed, or corrected version(s) to resolve a NIGO).

Change "Past Due" activity from "Yesterday" to "Past Due"
Currently when you're in a contact record, and you see a "past due" reminder and click on it, it takes you to "yesterday", not "past due". So you have to click on "past due" again. Any chance this could be fixed?

Option to view all activities
Please add option to view all activities under a client records. Changing the date range every time I'm in a contact is a lot of clicks.

provide ability to toggle importance and priority settings on the task screen
I find it very helpful to be able to sort on importance and priority on the list of tasks screen using one click. This really helps me prioritizing my tasks. However, to change the importance and priority for each task, right now, we have to do into each task detail to do this. I suggest that you add the ability to do this from the list of tasks screen to allow us to change the setting for these either on one task or on multiple tasks.

Turn off email notifications for activities if the only change to the activity is the date (moving it forward--taking it out of past due)
We utilize activities with multiple attendees. If there are no updates to an activity except a date change, an email notification is still sent to the attendees. Date change only occurs frequently in our office and our email inboxes are being inundated with email notifications that aren't necessary. It would be great if there was a way to only send the email notification if there are changes to the actual details in an activity.

Invoicing
Similar to the create and activity, would be to create an invoice. After compiling notes those who are billed for planning services, it would be convenient to move right to invoice generation.

Open Activities
I created a new activity type - outstanding issue to mark those things where we have reached out to the client but not heard back from them so the issue is still outstanding. Normally I'd put this in important information but that field is too easy to ignore (until you fix that, right?). My thought was to just add a date on those activities for the end of next year but I realized I can't easily see that. Show Calendar Color Code in Activity Details "Type" Drop-down
Show assigned color code assigned per the "Type" of activity selected in the drop down menu within the Activity Detail.
Additionally, an option for CRM Admin to standardize all color codes selected would be nice.

activity disposition (action)
I color code my activities, using green for activities that have yet to be completed, white for activities that have been marked completed. Some activities have not been completed, and will not be completed. I do not want to delete them because I want to see them on my calendar when I review my calendar activities, but I do not want them to be marked completed, nor do I want them to remain green.I look back to prior days on my calendar to quickly and easily see activities that I still need to complete. Report that will run last Client Review date
Due to the glitch in the next review date. We are missing some of our clients actual review date. Since the glitch hasn't been fixed we need the ability to run a report versus having to go through each client to check to see if they were missed. The report for last activity is not an accurate report for this either. This glitch causes a problem with meeting our compliance date for each annual review.
